For work, I meet families in public places and often suggest going to different libraries within…read morethe Pima County library system. Quincy Douglas branch library is one of my favorite places to go for Childrens story time with my families. They offer three well sized study rooms, lots of computers that you can use, and they have many events throughout the week. They have a phone that the public can use for free. I learned they have snacks for kids from 3 to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. I just love the children's librarian and Bri who offers a phenomenal story time Tuesdays at 10:30 AM. However 've gone many times for story time and it's canceled. This branch is not open on Mondays and so I have no way of really getting updates when things like this occur. In the last year I've gone five times for story time and three times it was canceled. Yesterday I was told I should check the Facebook page in the future, and story time is now only the first three weeks of the month. There's plenty of parking at Quincie Douglas Library. This one is fairly close to the Tucson marketplace. The closest Library to where I live generally has homeless people sort of meandering near the entrance and so this one feels a lot safer.
