If Miller Masonry can't do something as simple as not break the law, do you really trust them to work on your house? Like many of the other reviewers, I've found their flyers all over the sidewalks, driveways, and lawns in the neighborhood, many times right next to mailboxes (we're in Gallatin near Hendersonville). Emailed them on January 6th of this year after witnessing their representative walking down the street quite literally tossing flyers into yards, no response. Just got hit by these asshats again today 4/23/26. I would NEVER do business with a company that's this incompetent. read more

I would never do business with this company! They continue to throw their post cards all over our neighborhood even though I have called them and had our property manager send them a letter. We got hit in January and now again in March. I have contacted our city councilman but have not made any progress. Miller Masonry is all over the postcards and you see tons of complaints online. Would never recommend this company - their advertising strategy is to litter plastic-coated postcards all over West Nashville. Because they're plastic-coated, they don't decompose. They're too lazy to even put them in the mailbox. With that much disregard for the environment and the people they're advertising to, I doubt they have any level of regard for their own work. I was driving to work in Brentwood when the truck behind me kept inching forward until it was less than 6 inches from my bumper. When they whipped around me after the red light, I saw it was a company truck for Miller Masonry. Well, when this truck whipped around me, it blew through a red light straight into a construction zone. It then swerved to narrowly avoid plowing into the construction workers and almost hit cars (that thankfully were paying attention) as this Miller Masonry truck went into the turning lane to avoid killing construction workers. Maybe you shouldn't be an agressive driver or blow through red lights and ignore construction that is clearly marked. I proceeded to look up the company and call their office to inform them that they had an employee that was a major liability driving around that would likely result in a lawsuit. About two sentences in, I was being more than civil by the way, they hung up on me. I called back, informed them that their unprofessionalism and lack of care about major safety issues would be the reason I report them to the BBB. I will never do business with a company that plays with people's lives to save 2 minutes of time. I can't imagine how awful their masonry and construction work is, especially when they clearly cut corners and won't even listen to a potential consumer on the phone. read more

Miller Masonry went up and above the call of duty and did an absolutely exceptional job pouring a new driveway for us! Another well-known company gave a quote for around the same price but said they would pour a driveway about 4 inches thick and two inches thick on the street edge, where they would simply pour cement on top of the alley asphalt up against a 2X4 laying on the street. This thin outer edge is what leads to broken outer edges of driveways, as I could see on other driveways in our neighborhood where the same thing was done. Enter Miller Masonry. First, Hector, from Miller Masonry, was able to get a fast quote to me on the basis of pictures alone, and he stuck to his price. He then had his guys dig out a lot of dirt to create space for gravel and cement, filling up an entire dump truck with the dirt (the guy from the other company had asked about just dumping the dirt on a neighbor's property). This allowed them to first put down a bunch of gravel. Hector told me they would make the cement 6 inches thick in the middle and even thicker, 8 inches, at the edges, so that it wouldn't crack. Well, they even put in rebar metal bar reinforcement, and the driveway was even thicker than 6 and 8 inches. With high strength cement. This driveway will last forever. Hector also had his guys set the borders of the concrete very carefully and neatly in response to my input. And they set the height perfectly for our driveway gate and made sure the gates could anchor in the driveway perfectly. They also patched up our alley asphalt for us that had previously been torn up by rain washouts. Hector and the guys working were very responsive to requests, worked very hard and quietly, and cleaned up afterwards very nicely. All of them were real gentlemen. Our driveway is neat as a pin now and we can also store our trash bins on it. Highly recommended. I'll include pictures. One last thing: of the 30 reviews on Yelp, 27 are not by customers or about the actual work Miller Masonry does but instead about the fact that they have bothered people with ads they've distributed in neighborhoods. It sounds like they should change their ad practices, and no doubt they've already paid a price with all these negative reviews about their ads. But in any event, the actual masonry work they did for me and also for a neighbor is outstanding! read more

I went for a short walk through my neighborhood this afternoon and counted no fever than six out there, advertising cards on lawns and in bushes. Once again, we have received great service from Miller Masonry, this time for pouring a concrete slab for the placement of a storage shed. The crew arrived early, worked very hard all day and got that job done! They were polite, simpatico and cleaned up after themselves. You know, I really cannot understand how people get so riled up about a post card in their yard twice a year. Miller Masonry seems to advertise exclusively by driving through neighborhoods and throwing postcards in peoples lawns, which quickly get rained on, get soggy and make a mess. I have called them multiple times over the last few years asking them to stop, but like the rains of spring and the sleet of December, a loud, jacked-up truck shows up twice a year like clockwork to litter my and my neighbors' yards and driveways with a sloppily-thrown postcards. Not only would I never recommend this business, I would highly encourage finding someone else. read more

Please do not use Miller Masonry Construction Inc. or any other company that contributes to littering up our neighborhood. If Miller Masonry is willing to cut corners by littering up our neighborhoods to save money on advertising, they are no doubt willing to cut corners to save costs by doing a subpar job when working on your home. While walking our dog around Raintree this morning, I picked up dozens of these postcards that were placed in the roads and around mailboxes. I understand the need to advertise and am happy to support local businesses who do it respectfully. However, littering up neighborhoods to get a business's name out there not only acts as black mark against a company name, it also does the opposite of attracting new business. read more

I highly recommend Miller Masonry for construction work.  I was hesitant to hire his team because the reviews on Yelp were terrible.  If you look closely, all of the reviews were about his advertising cards littering lawns and none were about the quality of his work.  I decided to hire him for a small outdoor tile job.  His men were there every day on time and worked til dark, even on Saturdays.  They cleaned up well, were friendly and the price was reasonable. Most importantly, the quality was fantastic.  I was so pleased that I hired him for a massive stone redo around the pool which also turned out fantastic.  They do stone, brick, tile, wood floors, drywall, electrical, plumbing, AC, etc.  I will definitely call them back when I next need work done. read more

I checked out Miller Masonry with the codes department at Metro. Virtually everything on the advertisement cards that Hector Martinez, company owner, has littered our neighborhoods with for the past 3 years is false. He has no LLC and he is not Licensed or Bonded. If a contractor is not licensed they can't pull a permit to work on your property. Therefore, accept for minor repair work which doesn't required a permit, he is working illegally. The metro codes department has issued an Abatement Notice to Miller Masonry and a warning to stop littering. The Police department has also issued a verbal warning to them. In the future, if anyone finds Miller Masonry advertisement cards on their property or sees Miller Masonry working in their neighborhood you should report them to the Metro Codes Department at 615-862-6590. read more

I am a resident and walk/hiker in the Hemmingwood Association. Over the past couple days walking I have noticed your 3X5 cards all over the streets, within the Hearthstone and Hemmingwood neighborhoods. You do understand this is a problem here, your cards are everywhere laying on the ground. It looks like someone just threw them on the ground in front of all the homes. This is an unsightly mess and when it begins to rain the cards are going to wash down into the storm drains and into the creek, lake and runoff areas, I know I live at the bottom of one of the hills. Another complaint against this "company" and their practice of littering neighborhoods as a marketing campaign. Would you trust someone so cheap they didn't get the proper permit to put advertisements in a mailbox? Wonder how they treat permits for construction. Someone so lazy they toss their material wherever they please? I would be worried about their workmanship. Someone so inconsiderate they think it is perfectly fine to litter the streets, driveways and yards of someone else's neighborhood after repeated poor reviews, complaints and requests to stop? I certainly wouldn't trust how my home and the job I paid for would be completed. This company doesn't seem to be closed as Yelp indicates as they just delivered a new round of trash to our neighborhood.
