I thought about how to describe this store. Remember from the movie "Forrest Gump", Forrest's friend Bubba. They had big plans about getting in the shrimping business when they returned from Vietnam. Bubba would name off hundreds of ways that shrimp could be prepared. Imagine that same scenario, only now Bubba and Forrest are going to go into the Pecan business. There is Pecan Pralines, Pecan Brittle, Milk Chocolate Covered Pecans, Dark Chocolate Covered Pecans, Pecan Butter, Spicy Pecans, Pecan Honey, Toffee Covered Pecans, Roasted and Salted Pecans, Pecans in the Shell, and the list goes on and on and on..... More kind of pecan candy than you can think of. That is what the Miller Pecan Company is, plus hundreds of other products. We are doing our Christmas shopping and searching out MIO (Made In Oklahoma) products. Miller's has them. We left with a basket full. Nice store, great selection, friendly service. read more

*** Review is during COVID-19 *** There was a sign on the door saying that masks were required inside and to please not touch items unless buying that item. Weirdly though, the worker was not wearing a mask. Speaking of the worker, she wasn't very friendly. Luckily the sweet treats made up for it. We ended up with a haul including pecan pralines, dark chocolate amaretto pecans, chocolate fudge, and banana split fudge. Everything was yummy! I think my favorite was the banana split fudge. It literally tasted like eating an ice cream sundae... but it was fudge! I also really liked the dark chocolate amaretto pecans because the flavor was spot on. But like I said, it was all good. From what I understand (the lady seemingly didn't really want to explain), only the fudge and the pralines are made by them, and the rest is shipped in. I say this because they actually have quite a few different treats. In particular, lots of pecans covered in a variety of flavors. As far as the fudge goes, they had about 6-8 flavors and there's probably a few more options because I think they rotate some of them out, so I guess it just depends on when you go what handful of flavors they'll have at the time. I'd go back to try more if I find myself near there and craving something sweet. read more

This place is missing the mark in a few areas...where are all the fresh baked pecan goodies??, the nice bathroom?, The freezer cooler with Pecan pies ready to bake? the friendly service? anyway - it was fine...but not worth the stop. read more

These are truly extraordinary pecans. You needn't wait to taste them for your senses to be rewarded: these nuts boast a rich, warm light yellowish-brown color that bespeaks diligent cultivation and favorable growing conditions. The smell is pleasantly nutty, the gentle slightly earthy aroma defectible even from those pecans treated to a lustrous chocolate coating. The size--some variety--allows for you to perfectly modulate your consumption based on your level of hunger. The flavor profile is among the best you'll find anywhere. Eastern Oklahoma is one of the all-time great pecan growing regions and the casual observer will not that these nuts tend to have robust flavor--I would REALLY love to know what cultivars they are planting but these (especially the Cajun and sugar-chocolate coated ones) taste similar to some of the great ones I've had from Arkansas and Louisiana. The salted had some variation but were are similar to the tops of what you might get in okmulgee or Bixby: I would say you have a higher (healthy) oil content then most varieties I've had out in CA or New Mexico and are less bitter for those who are sensitive to that. These were well sized but not over the top. The ones I got weren't labeled Kanzas but some in the salted pack seemed to have that nice heartiness of flavor one gets from such nuts. Every variety I had was a treat. Obviously it's hard to argue with plain. The Cajun spice was a gift and I was cautious but it was executed quite capably. The sugar-free chocolate coated ones are excellent and no worse for lacking that belt busting additive. read more
