How did I never stumble upon this gem? Small local mercado…read moreperpendicular to where Harps is in Centerton. I got everything I needed to make Al Pastor tacos for dinner tonight and since they marinate their meats for you already, it takes the guess work out of the prep!! So excited to come back for the next time I crave authentic comida mexicana!!! And thank you all for the hospitality. The butcher was very helpful in pointing out everything that I needed-- produce, meats and salsas. :)

Great neighborhood store with fresh ingredients and meats. They also have some prepared foods and…read moremarinated meats by the pound. It's easy to miss if driving too fast on 102. I stopped by for fresh vegetables and elote which I enjoyed. I have never had elote in a cup so that was new. I like that they have that option for people that have issues biting into corn they will love this. The location has ample parking for guests. The people that work there are very nice and helpful in recommending items. They have freshly made salsa, guacamole, desserts including churros. I love that this place although small has everything you need. They also have ceviche which is great! The ice cream/popsicles offerings are endless! It's really a mini market providing access to fresh ingredients in the neighborhood. Elote! I couldn't resist after seeing the sign for it. The cup it's served in is a large which gives a lot of corn for less than $5. I would prefer to have options on the size because it was a lot but great for snacks! You have the option to make it spicy as well which is great. I will definitely recommend this place because it has everything.

Had an amazing date night at Preacher's Son. Service was incredible!! We loved our server (Natalie…read moreI think?) and the drinks were strong and delicious. I loved the interior and how it was decorated. The grilled cheese was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Definitely wouldn't be enough if there were more than 2 people at the table though. The pork porterhouse was good, the butter on top really gave the meat its flavor. The pasta was amazing. Great portion sizes for both. Overall: amazing classy dinner spot in NWA, would definitely come back!

Surprised to find a restaurant this caliber without a tasting menu however, the choices were interesting enough that we tried out these strawberry appetizer which combines in season strawberries with a tart cream sauce, and a balsamic vinaigrette, making for a sweet and sour combination The bread, butter combo was very good with the butter being infused with some heat. We went for a pretty standard selection of steak for two which was well prepared and came with a side of mushrooms and potato cakes. Honestly, the winner of the night was the wine. A nice wine list selection that included choices from California, Spain, France. We went with a rioja reserve which was a great pairing. There is no Sommelier or suggested wine pairings on the menu. The service was solid however, once the restaurant filled up, we found ourselves somewhat on our own. The dessert menu had a nice selection, but nothing that jumped out at us. Overall, a really interesting space, pleasant service, good food, great wine, and a nice evening.
