In short, we've been remodeling our kitchen from the ground up, which means entirely re-done electrical. We needed all new lighting, moving of outlets, added switches, and an additional electric panel. Originally we were working with another company that had to drop our project very last minute. Lakeshore Electric to the rescue! Mehmet was quick to take my calls, talk through my project, and come by to look at everything. He was also kind enough to squeeze us in starting almost asap, as he knew we were in a bind with timing, as it effected other parts of the project. We've had three overall visits from Mehmet and his team for work to be done, and we're now in the home-stretch of finalizing everything. They've all been wonderfully nice, super thorough, and really have helped me understand the whole process and steps along the way (newbie renovator over here). I've really happy with the placement of everything, the light fixers, and most of all the added dimmers to *everything* as requested. I'll be calling Lakeshore again in a few months when we're on to our next project; the basement!

I had some electrical issues in a new home that we just bought: bad switch in the master bedroom…read moresome fuses on the wrong gauge wire in the fuse box, bad GFI's and outlets in the kitchen. I called and had a crew in 1.5 hrs, they got started right away and kept me in-the-know through the whole project. They replaced 3 fuses in the basement, 3 GFI's and 4 outlets in the kitchen. Total time was 2.5 hrs. I was informed that my kitchen was only rated to 15 amps and should be upped to 20 amps and he suggested this upgrade to prevent tripping the fuse if too many appliances are plugged in. I didn't feel pressured it was told to me as an FYI, and I had them do the upgrade so my wife and I could feel good that we would not have to do anything further with the Kitchen. He also consulted with me about a couple of other issues that I had concerns about which was appreciated. The final price was 1/3 the price of another "Alphabetical" Plumbing and Electric company and I was pleasantly surprised. I will be using this company again and would 100% recommend them for any Electrical needs.

They showed up at 11 a.m. - two hours late (after the office lied about their arrival time). They were unprofessionally and sloppy dressed, stuck like cigarettes, and didn't introduce themselves. They just said, "Where's the furnace?" When I remarked they were late, they said they were at another house, contradicting the office admin report at 9:30 a.m. No Work Order. No IDs. No Identification on their truck. They didn't come in ready to work - no flashlight or tools. They opened my bedroom door (accidentally) when pushing the furnace room door aside. They complained that the unit to remove was "too big." Never worked in a mobile home(?). They walked out to their truck - and drove away after sitting in there for 50 minutes. They gave their boss some BS so they didn't have to do the job. When I called their office, I asked to speak to the receptionist's manager, who told me the BS story relayed by "my guys" and said, "This isn't going to go anywhere."

Prior reviews may have expressed concern about punctuality, but there is no way to predict how long a plumbing issue might take to repair until the plumber actually arrives to assess the issue... So trust that your job will be done as thoroughly and well by Jeff or his brother as the one that may have caused a late arrival.
