She helped me choose a donut, and I ended up going with the Tiger Tail. They offered both a small and large option, and since I definitely had a sweet tooth that day, I chose the large along with a chocolate milk. Unfortunately, the donut was disappointing. It had a greasy, oily texture that left an unpleasant taste in my mouth, and I ended up throwing away more than half of it. The chocolate milk was okay, but nothing memorable. The customer service was kind, and I appreciated the friendly interaction, but overall the food just didn't do it for me. I mainly stopped by because it was convenient and close by at the time, but I'm not sure I'd return.

I've had multiple separate issues involving money and incorrect orders, and somehow the responsibility keeps getting pushed onto the customer. On one visit, the owner's son accidentally charged me too little for my order. I didn't realize he had made the mistake. The next time I came in, his mom remembered the previous transaction and told me I needed to pay the difference from his mistake on top of paying for my current order. I found that incredibly inappropriate. If an employee enters the wrong amount and the customer pays exactly what they're told to pay, that is a mistake the business should address with the employee not keep tabs on a customer and charge them for it on a future visit. The fact that they even kept track of it and brought it up the next time I walked in was honestly wild to me. Then, on a completely separate visit, I asked for 3 dozen donut holes four different times because the amount they were charging me didn't seem right. I questioned it, and the young employee had gotten the order wrong. Instead of simply acknowledging the misunderstanding, I was told, "You need to be better at communicating." sorry, but saying "3 dozen donut holes" four times is pretty clear communication. Mistakes happen, especially when younger employees are learning. That's not the issue. The issue is the lack of accountability when those mistakes happen. I shouldn't have to double-check the register, catch incorrect charges, or be responsible for correcting someone else's money-management mistakes and I definitely shouldn't be spoken to rudely when I point one out. This has happened enough times that it isn't an isolated experience for me anymore. The donuts are genuinely good, and I would probably come here much more often if the service matched the quality of the food. But constantly having to check my order and what I'm being charged, combined with the attitude when mistakes are addressed, has made the experience incredibly frustrating. Great donuts. Kind owners in my previous interactions. But the service and accountability need serious improvement.
