I was excited about checking this establishment especially since my wife referred it to me on her recent adventure here. I actually had a great time here! This store had so many great hidden gems that you can check out. It's a well organized store that the average antique enthusiast can spend hours at. It's two floors too! What ruined my experience was that the lady at the front desk grew irate at me and my wife saying that we were driving her crazy because we were the only people at the store and she wanted to close the store down early I assume because the store closes in 15 minutes. The lady then gave my wife an attitude because she was trying to make a purchase and the card reader wasn't working. I pulled out some cash and tried to be as friendly as possible. Moved to Wilmington several years ago, and Milltown is probably the largest antique store in the Wilmington proper. It must have 20k sqft floor space if not bigger. I enjoy casually browsing thru the two floors with zero sales pressures. Very quiet with only a dozen or so shoppers most of the time. If you are a nostalgia buff, making a route 66 mini tour or grand tour, this is a must stop. Can spend half hour to couple hours, depending on your antique curiosities! read more

SERVICE DOGS BEWARE! We absolutely love to take our dog to the little shops around town! She's extremely well behaved, K9 good citizen certified. The whole 9 yards. Although she is not a service dog, I just wanted to give tourists or people in the area a heads up that the dog in this shop is extremely dog aggressive and free roams the store. Definitely call ahead, because I'm not kidding when I say... This dog was going insane(barking, growling, aggressively pacing) at the front door trying to get to my dog who was doing a simple sit and stay, not reacting, on their front porch area while one of us went in to assure it was still dog friendly like it used to be. The owner said "oh we wouldn't want them knocking over things from playing!" When this was obviously not the case. Any dog can make the turn around, but I've seen many posts about "Archie" and I really don't want anyone getting hurt as its extremely deceiving. Never seen human aggression from him, but definitely some opportunities for improvement in the dog socialization category. On the flip side.. store wise.. It's a lovely shop! We often did our Special occasion shopping here (birthdays, Christmas, etc) and almost always walked out with something. Even decorated our kitchen with a ton of their items! Good selection. Just definitely call ahead if you travel with any kind of animal here. read more

Everyone is very nice, I rented a U-haul it was clean and in good condition not over priced. When I dropped it off, I stayed to shop. Beautiful glassware throughout. Loads of antiques mixed with some modern as well. Something for almost anyone's taste.Don't recommend taking small children, strollers not really accessible either. But if you like to browse and antique shop this is for you. read more

It's a rambling space with lots of knickknacks and some furniture. Not many true antiques here, just vintage stuff and collectibles. It's not a true junk store, but parts of it are close to that. The areas where vendors have their booths are reasonably well organized. It's clear that the vendors keep up their spaces and things are priced to sell. Nothing too exciting here. No mid-century modern, though there were a couple of handsome 50 and 60s era table top stereos that caught my eye. One vendor had a collection of fossils in the back which held my interest for a while. Another vendor specializes in framing chalk boards, neat and useful. Prices are reasonable on many items. What a PERFECT place to spend an hour, or two or three walking back in time! So many vendors, in a spectacular building- I love walking through every chance I get! All of the experiences buying things at this mall have been nothing but VERY positive. The staff and the owners of the mall are all very helpful and knowledgeable and they made every visit that I ever made there, a pleasure.
