Ordering off the menu is fine, but what you really want to do is check the specials board where you might find fried chicken served with real mashed potatoes, meatloaf with onion and herb bread stuffing, chicken pot pie, stuffed pork chops, or chicken and waffles (it's a Pennsylvania thing, outlanders). Desserts include homemade shoofly cake (all the stuff that's good about shoo fly pie without the tooth decay) and homemade apple pie. But I think that some improvement in the food could make the place more of a destination. And a destination could actually bring more business to the surrounding businesses!
