Ordered take out from Joe's for the first time today. Pizza was easy to order, lots of options. Pizza was ready when expected. Though it is a busy place on a Saturday night, check out was quick and friendly. We had sausage and mushroom pizza. I liked the pizza crust. Overall, it was good, but a little salty. We love Joe's food, however on our last order the mushrooms in the steak Stromboli were not cooked like normal and the cheese sub had so much oil, it made a puddle on my plate. Hoping it's was a new cook, etc. We will be back. read more

Best hometown thin pizza! Anti pasta salad is right there too. Only second away from me, call ahead, fast ordering. And pickup at its finest. A Friday night about 430 we ordered a meat lovers and a double pepperoni pizza along with a steak and cheese hoagie ( Hoagies in PA, subs in Oh) by 5 there was a line out the door to pick up orders and to order. It's a smaller pizza shop, no frills, tables can be moved to fit your party. The staff has always been very friendly and helps you to make your experience pleasurable. The pizza is very good and delivered extremely hot. The dough is average thickness and well cooked. The outer crust is done just on the crispy side, nice. The hoagie was very good. A firm roll and plenty of meat. Overall a very good place to eat. Highly recommend! read more

Stopped I'm for a quick lunch before traveling back to airport. All the suggestions were correct. The subs are legit and the pizza is good. I was lucky to get the lunch special and grabbed the cold itialian. I agree that the bread makes the subs here!!! The lunch special was a great price for a sandwich and a drink. I couldn't get out of there without trying a slice. Grabbed a slice of sausage pizza to try. Great sauce. Perfect crust the cheese was plentiful and the sausage was good add some red pepper flakes equals a solid pie. read more

Placed an order by phone expecting to wait 25-30 mins. I arrived, paid, and was then told it would be another 30 mins. I'm now sitting in the lobby an hour after the order was placed. Maybe I'll update when I try the food but probably won't go back. read more

Ok, tried the meatball parm. This review is more of a preference than a critique. It was good. But, the bread was something else from what I expected. It was good bread so please don't misunderstand me here. It just wasn't the crunchy Italian bread I was used to , being originally from NYC. This bread was all soft and was probably something they make there. (I get take out with someone else picking it up. So I've not been there personally.) I will say this, that bread was good and is perfect for that homemade egg bacon cheese breakfast sandwich you would make at home. I need to see if they just sell the bread. I'd definitely buy some. Read the reviews about this place on Yelp after getting a recommendation from a local about their food. We ordered a large pizza (8 slices) with pepperoni, mushrooms and extra sauce. After ordering and reading through the Yelp reviews we called them back and ordered subs as well since they seem to be known for them. Well - they did NOT DISAPPOINT!! Four of us sampled quite different fares: Veal cutlet parmesan sandwich (really, really good - how often can you get veal outside a fine dining setting?); onion rings; Cheesesteak (judged very good by a Philly resident!); Turkey Cheese Hoagie (great); and a small cheese pizza (very good). This place is the best, I make sure to get something from here every time I'm in town. They've been around for years and despite the restaurant space improving over time, their food has always been the same (in a good way!). Their hoagies are amazing, the bread is really what makes the difference. Their pizza is also fantastic. I just went to pick up a take out order. Mask guidelines have been reinstated here. Not a single employee on the premises and no customers waiting for orders were wearing a mask. When I asked why, i got no response. I told the cashier I would not ever patronize this business again because of that. If you choose not to follow guidelines we can observe, how can we trust you to follow other precautions we can not observe? If you choose not to follow mask guidelines, I can choose never to give you my money. Not that you care...I left a tip, which I now regret, especially as I did not get the beverage for which I had already paid. read more

After reading the reviews on this little ham, my daughter, myself and my three grandchildren ages seven, five, and 19 months decided to give this restaurant a try. TOTALLY AWESOME!! The servi is in impeccable. The food is outrageously delicious and cooked to perfection. We did not have one item that we did not like. Even the kids ate quite a bit. Will go back there in a heartbeat! If you're in the area, and one a quick bite ranging from Pizza hoagies, almost anything you could possibly want when it comes to lunch or dinner, do yourself a favor and stop in. Hands down the worst service for pizza in Williamsport! Employees who answer the phone are consistently rude and their delivery wait time is usually close to an hour at non-busy periods. Joe's pizza regards itself as pizza royalty in Williamsport and uses that as justification for their poor attitude. read more

I've been going here for years, and I can still say that the Cheesesteaks at Joe's Pizza are best I've ever had. I believe that they make their own bread using their pizza dough, and shaping it so that it almost represents a doughy pita. The steak is very tasty, and I have no complaints about the cheese. I usually get it in the garden with everything, lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and peppers (I think they're banana peppers) . As a whole the sandwich is just amazingly good, and really different from most other cheesesteak subs. Their pizza is also very good, but I don't order it as much. Love the pizza!! It usually has a nice thick crust which is well... just good. Sauce is tasty and not too salty. Subs are also great most likely due to the incredible homemade bread/rolls. We were in town over Labor Day weekend for DCA Championships and needed to feed our corps. I spoke with manager, Cross and he was nothing but awesome! Answered many, many questions and his service was wonderful, giving us his personal cell phone for questions, anytime. 75 pizzas delivered, on time and ALL were delicious. Huge portions of freshly made, delicious fare. Very reasonable prices for the high quality and amount of food. The small version of Joe's stromboli is enough to feed two. Same goes for their small Italian hoagie and mini pizza. The dough used for the stromboli and pizza is excellent and the same goes for the sandwich roll. Noteworthy is their broccoli, mozzarella and ricotta pizza, called a white pizza by other restaurants. Plenty of cheese and broccoli on each slice. Other pizzerias tend to skimp on the broccoli and often change extra for it. Not Joe's. The east end store is tucked away in Northway Plaza and has ample seating for sit-down patrons. I called for a carry-out order and the pizza was coming out of the oven when I arrived 25 minutes after placing my order. It was a slow early Saturday evening (at least at 5:45 it was slow). Can't imagine a restaurant with food this good being slow very often. read more

I picked up an order this afternoon. I arrived 10 minutes late to account for their usual lateness. When I went to pick up my order, the shorter woman at the counter told me it wasn't ready yet. I mentioned that it was already 10 minutes past the wait time they gave me on the phone. She rolled her eyes at me and had me pay for my food. She went back and got my food. Not a single word out if her mouth after she rolled her eyes. No I'm sorry, thank you, ect.
