A Friday night about 430 we ordered a meat lovers and a double pepperoni pizza along with a steak and cheese hoagie ( Hoagies in PA, subs in Oh) by 5 there was a line out the door to pick up orders and to order. It's a smaller pizza shop, no frills, tables can be moved to fit your party. The staff has always been very friendly and helps you to make your experience pleasurable. The pizza is very good and delivered extremely hot. The dough is average thickness and well cooked. The outer crust is done just on the crispy side, nice. The hoagie was very good. We love Joe's food, however on our last order the mushrooms in the steak Stromboli were not cooked like normal and the cheese sub had so much oil, it made a puddle on my plate. Hoping it's was a new cook, etc. We will be back. read more

Stopped I'm for a quick lunch before traveling back to airport. All the suggestions were correct. The subs are legit and the pizza is good. I was lucky to get the lunch special and grabbed the cold itialian. I agree that the bread makes the subs here!!! The lunch special was a great price for a sandwich and a drink. I couldn't get out of there without trying a slice. Grabbed a slice of sausage pizza to try. Great sauce. Ok, tried the meatball parm. This review is more of a preference than a critique. It was good. But, the bread was something else from what I expected. It was good bread so please don't misunderstand me here. It just wasn't the crunchy Italian bread I was used to , being originally from NYC. This bread was all soft and was probably something they make there. (I get take out with someone else picking it up. So I've not been there personally.) I will say this, that bread was good and is perfect for that homemade egg bacon cheese breakfast sandwich you would make at home. I need to see if they just sell the bread. I'd definitely buy some. They've been around for years and despite the restaurant space improving over time, their food has always been the same (in a good way!). Their hoagies are amazing, the bread is really what makes the difference. Their pizza is also fantastic. I just went to pick up a take out order. Mask guidelines have been reinstated here. Not a single employee on the premises and no customers waiting for orders were wearing a mask. When I asked why, i got no response. I told the cashier I would not ever patronize this business again because of that. If you choose not to follow guidelines we can observe, how can we trust you to follow other precautions we can not observe? If you choose not to follow mask guidelines, I can choose never to give you my money. The servi is in impeccable. The food is outrageously delicious and cooked to perfection. We did not have one item that we did not like. Even the kids ate quite a bit. Will go back there in a heartbeat! Hands down the worst service for pizza in Williamsport! Employees who answer the phone are consistently rude and their delivery wait time is usually close to an hour at non-busy periods. I've been going here for years, and I can still say that the Cheesesteaks at Joe's Pizza are best I've ever had. I believe that they make their own bread using their pizza dough, and shaping it so that it almost represents a doughy pita. The steak is very tasty, and I have no complaints about the cheese. I usually get it in the garden with everything, lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and peppers (I think they're banana peppers) . As a whole the sandwich is just amazingly good, and really different from most other cheesesteak subs. Their pizza is also very good, but I don't order it as much. Huge portions of freshly made, delicious fare. Very reasonable prices for the high quality and amount of food. The small version of Joe's stromboli is enough to feed two. Same goes for their small Italian hoagie and mini pizza. The dough used for the stromboli and pizza is excellent and the same goes for the sandwich roll. Noteworthy is their broccoli, mozzarella and ricotta pizza, called a white pizza by other restaurants. Plenty of cheese and broccoli on each slice. Other pizzerias tend to skimp on the broccoli and often change extra for it. Not Joe's. The east end store is tucked away in Northway Plaza and has ample seating for sit-down patrons. I called for a carry-out order and the pizza was coming out of the oven when I arrived 25 minutes after placing my order. It was a slow early Saturday evening (at least at 5:45 it was slow). I picked up an order this afternoon. I arrived 10 minutes late to account for their usual lateness. When I went to pick up my order, the shorter woman at the counter told me it wasn't ready yet. I mentioned that it was already 10 minutes past the wait time they gave me on the phone. She rolled her eyes at me and had me pay for my food. She went back and got my food. Not a single word out if her mouth after she rolled her eyes. No I'm sorry, thank you, ect. Love the pizza!! It usually has a nice thick crust which is well... just good. Sauce is tasty and not too salty. Subs are also great most likely due to the incredible homemade bread/rolls.
