We are new to the area and stopped at Milo's to buy a new chain. Even though this was a small purchase Milo spent a great deal of time explaining and showing us different types of chains. After his explanation we decided instead to upgrade the clasp on my necklace which saved us a lot of money. I was impressed with his honesty. Milo made me the perfect custom engagement ring at half the cost of big box stores and the quality was much much MUCH better!!! Milo also quoted me for the matching wedding band when I bought the engagement ring. When I went to buy it finally, he asked how much he quoted me, I told him and he said he could do it for even less than that. Milo is a very standup guy, he could have easily taken the higher amount and I would have been happy. If I could give no stars I would, this guy is so rude. Took my TAG in for a new battery n to get a half link put back on it. He went on to tell me you can't put a half link on, n this is r my first watch and I had the half link that came off of the watch at Jared's. So I told home I didn't want the watch messed up so if he didn't know how to do it I could take it somewhere else, and so he's like take it somewhere else then and I'm like ok I still need the battery in it, and he told me he wouldn't do it and to take it somewhere else. I need more stars...honestly Milo is amazing. He's honest, down to earth and no nonsense. I had lost a side stone on my engagement ring a few years ago. When I took it to another local jeweler they told me they could replace it but I really needed to change the entire setting because the invisible set just held the stones by tension and I was lucky I'd only lost one. They didn't have a goldsmith on-site...couldn't show me a visual of the recommendation and gave me a stupid high price to essentially just reset my ring. Fast forward 3 years and I was sick of it just sitting in my safe. We had moved so I googled local jewelers and up came Milo. His reviews had me intrigued but when I went in and he actually showed me how my stones were set (grooves cut into the diamonds) NOT set by tension alone and told me he would redo the whole setting if I didn't like it but if I liked it there was no need. He also told me I didn't need a whole new setting for the center stone just a re-prong as the stone was tight...the last jeweler had me thinking the stone was hanging in by a thread! Needless to say I happily left my ring with him and several days later picked it up looking as beautiful as the day my husband gave it to me 14 years ago. The price was very fair and totally in line with what I was expecting to spend when I took it in the first time...the initial quote was thousands more....for work that didn't need to be done that would have changed my ring so it was not the one I received and love. I will most definitely be back to see Milo again and shop his beautiful pieces. read more

Milo's is the best! Don't go anywhere else! His prices are more than fair and he is fast. His work is top notch. And he calls it Milo's Custom Jewelers for a reason - he tries hard to help achieve what you're after, not just "Here's the ring - we sized it for you - and that's all." My engagement/wedding ring was ordered online from a different jeweler over four years ago. It did not come as described to my disappointment and we missed the return window, so I've lived with it, albeit a little sadly. But Milo made this ring better than it's ever been! When I walked into the store today to pick it up I had a "Wow!" moment, and I'm not overly impressed by things ordinarily. The diamonds on my ring are in a fairly difficult setting, and the band is 10 karat white gold. I needed the band resized and reshanked. He did as I asked, but with 14 karat white gold - at the same price he'd quoted. He adjusted the three prongs lower as well, like we'd agreed. And then he topped everything off with extras at no upcharge - he drilled one of the holes in the middle and matched the carvings on the sides - things that were supposed to have been done by the original jeweler. When I picked it up, it had also been cleaned and restored to a shiny, like new condition. While I was excited about my ring's improved look, Milo's personal demeanor and the way he interacted made it a truly enjoyable experience. He was observant - when I entered the store initially and handed the ring over for inspection, he saw right away that the center diamond was loose and pointed that out to me. I hadn't noticed it till then. He was detail oriented and helpful, taking the time to explain things and educate me on what I asked. He was also patient towards the antsy toddlers I had with me, and acted like they were no problem. What he wasn't was pushy. I appreciated the fact he didn't try to sell me on more services. But I welcomed his suggestions wholeheartedly and my ring turned out right. In short, he had a "can do" attitude - and did! He lived up to the name on his store and I'm happy. I needed a last minute gift at Christmas time and it had to be custom made. I heard about Milos' and decided to go there seeing it was in my neighborhood. I am so happy that I did. I showed Milo a picture of what I needed and he had the piece done in less than a week and it is beautiful!! And I was very happy with the price. I would highly recommend this place of business. Milo does repairs well and quickly. He even does sterling silver. He reposts earring, so you don't have to give up on a favorite pair. He has a lot of knowledge of jewelry. My wife brought her bracelet to Milo's for a repair, it had lost one of its small diamonds. Milo did a wonderful job replacing the diamond, and showed us how the other diamonds were at risk too because their mountings were not robust enough. For a very fair price he not only replaced the 1 diamond but fixed the mountings of the others as well. He showed us the design of this bracelet has some shortcomings, but with his repair we are hoping to enjoy it for years.
