OMG!! "Customer Service" is a gross misnomer for what, used to be, a fantastic bit of print media. For about a month now, we've not gotten a paper. Although monthly auto-payments have been taken from our credit card accounts. I've complained many, many times to, I assume, someone in India or other foreign country. They were going to "personally contact" the person in charge. I've finally canceled but not before another month was taken from my account. No wonder the print media is going the way of the dinosaur. Having been a customer for over 50 years, I'm sure that means absolutely nothing to them. I've both canceled my account and blocked any further withdrawals from my credit card account. read more

In the last month, the Cue Section of the Sunday paper was missing three out of four weeks. Called and was promised to have it by 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Never happened. Customer service is terrible. Was promised credit for this situation. Again never happened. read more

TERRIBLE customer service when a senior citizen forgets to cancel promotion & calls on the VERY day of renewal to cancel & requests refund because they are on a fixed income and is refused. Even tho it is stated in the Terms & Conditions "We reserve the right, however, to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion." read more

We have been receiving the paper at our house for the last 9 months or so. One of our front porch decorations has twice been knocked over and broken (tried to repair the first time) by the paper being thrown at the house. We have a video showing the paper knocking it over. I contacted the customer service via email, included that video and received a response stating they needed more information. I supplied that information and have not heard back. It would be nice to see a company take responsibility for property damage an employee caused. read more

While my daughter enjoys the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, trying to resolve her billing issue is a nightmare. It appears they offshore their support and they don't have the authority to fix anything. Three phone calls total on hold time was over 2 hours. She placed an order for the paper through Discounted Newspapers ($91 for 6 months daily paper). However they started charging her double the amount after 2 months. So far they have charged her account over $145 for 5 months. We consider this 1) False advertising, 2) Bate and Switch, 3) Bank Fraud. First rep said on 1/4 he would send the information to management and they would get back to her via email in 48 hours. HaHaHa, it's now 1/15 and still no email. She was on the phone for over an hour and they don't want to give her a refund for the amount they over charged her. She even suggested they could just extend the paper through 5/16 and call it even but seems they can't do that either. She thinks the only thing the call center can do is extend subscriptions. They want to offer her another year for $15 a month. They must be crazy. She said a supervisor got on and said they would provide a refund. He said he was going to send it to their billing department. Sorry but she's not holding her breath. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. SHE WILL NEVER ORDER THE PAPER AGAIN AND IF SHE DOESN'T GET A REFUND HE WILL BE CALLING HER BANK. read more

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel inactivated my account 3 months early! Last year, I paid for my 52-week subscription, which should have run until the end of March 2018. Instead, MJS sent me a bill in December saying a payment was due by 12/22/17. When I called customer service, Jarelle said I had a month after that due date to pay it. On January 7th we stopped getting a paper. I called customer service again, spoke to John, who credited our account $25 and said we were okay until the 22nd, time for me to get this issue resolved. I've emailed twice since then, gotten a tracking number, but my account is still inactive and we've gotten no paper. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. read more

HORRIBLE PAPER AND RIDICULOUS RATES!!!! I am on hold again, this time for almost an hour, early today I was on hold for almost two hours.........then a BIT@H named Kennedy hung up on me. Right now I am demanding to speak with a supervisor and am demanding an apology. I am going to cancel TWO accounts and urge everyone I know to do the same. The CSRs are on the east coast and their rudeness shows it!!! read more

Not sure what is going on with MJS lately but can't seem to get a Sunday paper on a regular basis. I know its old school but I like my newspaper delivered early in the morning, by 7am is preferred. I'm sure they are losing readership but having a poor delivery system isn't helping. Over the past 3 months I've not gotten a paper three times and have had to call for re-delivery or just go buy it. Not great especially when newspapers are starting to disappear. Too bad, it used to be a good paper. read more
