Customer service was located some 14 time zones away and clearly or more closely over the International date line. To say that there was no meeting of the minds, is an understatement. How a Midwest, or for that matter a continental United States corporation, can contract with another organization that is operating in an entirely different day than its customer but 10 hours behind is unimaginable and inconceivable. Customer service is unable to see issues from their customers point of view, walk in the customer's shoes. Customer service was unable to hear our complaint, concerns, and nor were they able to seek to understand our viewpoint. While assisting my father, I learned the customer service representative was located in the South Pacific country of the Philippines. So, while it was roughly 6:00 a.m. Friday there, my father and I were still operating in Thursday 4:00 p.m., the late afternoon. Milwaukee journal sentinel, or Gannett new service, lost my father as a customer earlier this year, in the first quarter or early part of the second quarter. Trying again with the Milwaukee journal sentinel, we learned they keep grudges. The customer service representative brought up things from 2018 while we talked about are new account beginning in the later half of the third quarter of this year. We ended the telephone call because there was no point in continuing until they, the Milwaukee journal sentinel newspaper, has a representative located in the Continental United States telephone us. A prior appointment earlier this month was made by them and they failed to follow through and call us at the appointed time. We wash our hands now and move on to acquiring our news by other sources.

The Journal Sentinel only had records of my call in February. I am totally sure they do not keep records past one month and they did not refund the December nor the January payments. They said they would refund the February payment and said it would take 5-7 business days. The last call to them was February 13 and today is February 27. Still no refund. Please do not use this newspaper. They are struggling financially and will grab your money any way they can.
