My make-up, and the make-up of my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law looked absolutely perfect: everyone looked beautiful and special without being too 'done up' and 'wedding-y.' She has true vision: she was able to take what we asked for and make it even better than we could have imagined. The hairstylist she brought with her (Jo) was also perfect! 2) The make-up and hair looked good ALL NIGHT!! I even looked good at the hotel bar AFTER the wedding! 3) Stacie was able to adapt to changing circumstances. Technical skills are great, but if you can't get the job done in time, it is for naught. Stacie and Jo arrived at the hotel over 30 minutes early (because they know how important the big day is, and they didn't want to be late if they got lost) and they got started right away. Timing wise, they had planned everything perfectly. However, there were some bumps in the road from my wedding party on the big day: one person who had adamantly said that she did not want make-up decided that she did indeed want make-up, and then numerous people showed up with wet hair. Not only did they STILL manage to get everyone done on time, both Stacie and Jo were such good sports about the whole thing. 4) The pricing was extremely fair: if anything, it was a bit of a steal given how great of a job they did and how wonderful they were to work with. 5) Stacie (and Jo) are just lovely women. Before meeting them, I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of having to do a trial hair and make-up run, but I actually had SO MUCH FUN with them!! And having them around when we were getting ready for the wedding just made everything better: they were just lots of fun and put everyone at ease.
