We used two of the three available sections and it was more than enough space. The event was a baby shower luncheon and the menu was very appropriate, with a variety of roving hors d'ouevres, salads, sandwiches, and desserts that satisfied everybody's appetite. The salads were all colourful, fresh, and tasty, with a good variety to choose from. The sandwiches - salmon, chicken, pulled pork, and vegetarian - were all delicious, as were the desserts. Personally, I would have preferred a tad less dressing on the salads but maybe that's just me. The service was also excellent, from the moment I walked in and was greeted with smiles by all the staff. Used plates were cleared from the tables very efficiently and the buffet table was replenished quickly. Overall, this was a great experience and a very enjoyable baby shower!

First came the appetizers and there's risotto ball, and warm salad. Surprisingly they taste quite decent even though it was mass produced. Then the mains came after about half hour and there's all three choices of beef, chicken and fish. So I am not stuck with one. The biggest surprise were the beef and fish. As I mentioned earlier, banquet food tends to flop when it is mass produced. But not here, the beef came out soft and juicy still and the fish actually tasted good. I didn't have chicken as I was full by then. Dessert were homemade doughnut balls and a tiramisu. These were dynamite. I had an extra serving of these wonderful goodies. Overall experience is very nice. Food was good and service is quite good.

Loved the solarium area of the upstairs part of the space, which had lighted trees set up in it and overlooked a gorgeous little parkette with a water fall. They also had amazing pieces of art on the wall and had tables set up with various colour schemes for consideration. We were also treated to many passed appetizers they make in house while viewing the space. All were very good however my fave were the crispy wrapped shrimp, so delicious! The staff representing the venue were very friendly and polite, making sure we were attended to and answering any questions we had. A great venue to look into if you would like to throw a party in a unique space in Toronto with great food/drink options!

There's affordable parking around the area. It was awkward to be told that the coat checks are at the back of the venue, because you had to walk down the aisle and basically walk all the way to where the groom is getting ready. The chairs were not the most comfortable, and they were wooden, so they were quite noisy. Also, there is not a lot of seating, so many people are standing in the front area, even thought it was probably a wedding of less than 75 guests. The upper dining areas is nice; the solarium was bright and beautiful. However, the shape of the dining area is a giant ring, which means there isn't really a central place for the wedding couple/family to sit. Staff: Friendly staff, however they need to work on their attentiveness. Half of the table I was seated at was served, coffee/tea and the other half didn't get served. And no one was checking in on us. When we finally got the attention of one of the people, he directed us to ask a server instead (guess he wasn't a server?!). Food: Very good food. Enjoyed the meal very much. Overall, it is more like a 3.5 out of 5.

From beginning to end, planning was made a breeze as Jey made everything so seamless. It is stressful trying to plan your big day but Jey made this an incredible experience for not only us but our guests and vendors as well. The options he has for decor, food, alcohol, in house lighting and speakers, table numbers, and so much more are endless. You won't even need to book additional decor (did I mention he has a floral arch and a piano?). Jey is a busy man, but he remains attentive to your needs and wants for your event. We were amazed at his willingness to help and adjust if there is something missing. His staff are also top tier and can handle a CROWD. (Especially the bartender that night, he held it down) On our event day, not only did Jey help the floor manager throughout the event, he was also monitoring the event ensuring that everything is going as planned and really going the extra mile to ensure that the guests are satisfied. They were accommodating when I shifted to a ketogenic lifestyle and always try to flex to keep the students happy. Food is decent. Some interesting meal combinations but overall good variety. There is a great view of the city from their brand new space on the 16th floor, and while the ceilings are on the lower, it suits the decor of the space. They don't just have large conference spaces, but smaller ones as well. They can easily host a reception of 400, but also a meeting of 20 - which is really key for a space like theirs, especially in their financial district location. If you're looking for this kind of space, you definitely won't be disappointed with St. Andrew's Club!
