Just make sure you read the fine print and don't take their word as gospel. Called and spoke to a gentleman there several weeks before making my booking. seemed great, friendly, and easy process. No mention of delivery fee. Went to make my reservation online, (Been recovering from severe pneumonia) and I guess I missed the fine print. The delivery fee for the tent was $300 more than the tent ($900 For delivery). I asked to cancel With a 10% restocking fee. I'll give them their 10% pound of flesh, but they'll never get my business again. And in all honesty, I didn't even notice they were being a reference to a delivery fee when I made the order. Would've thought for something so large it would've been impossible to miss, even if you're sick as a dog. read more

We rented 47 chairs, 5 tables and a 10x17 tent. The tent had been damaged the day before so they gave us 2 10x10 tents which was just fine. Everything was clean and in good condition. Ordering was easy and straight forward. It was helpful to watch the video about where to do the drop off and pick up. If you have a truck or a trailer you can back right up to the wooden porch. They sure are quick to take your money! Everything has to be done on THEIR time. I selected to pick up my items at the time frame THEY required. When my family showed up to pick up our 70 chairs, half moon table, table cloth, corn hole, a/c unit and chalk board sign, no one was there. They had to wait 45 minutes before someone showed up. None of our items were ready. The chairs were dirty and we were told we had to clean them because we didn't give them enough time to get items together. Isn't this why you have reservations?? The chairs were not nice and I ordered the wood with white seats. They were all nicked and really looked bad. I had to clean all the chairs myself. This just added extra stress to my wedding. AND they were filthy!!!! The corn hole was broken too! The chalkboard sign also still had writing on it, it wasn't cleaned. Their prices were less than others, but you get what you pay for and this place is the truth on this. I should have gotten a refund for all the hassle I had to deal with them. When I returned the items, no one was there again and had to unload everything ourselves and into their barn, which we didn't know where to put things. They are very unprofessional and don't give a hoot of customer service. They NEVER once apologized, in fact they are extremely RUDE even on the phone. Their bogus rules of this is OUR way or the highway is NOT how you run a business. Not what you want on your wedding day or ANY event!! read more

One stop shop for everything wedding or event related! So happy with the service we received from Mimi's Party Palace! We hired Nataly as our day of coordinator and she and her team made our wedding run seamlessly! We also did all our rentals from Mimi's and that made life so much easier. We had food from several different vendors and were able to rent linens, catering supplies and serve-ware as well! But the services didn't stop there. We rented a fancy drink station from Mimi's and Nataly even decorated it so that it would match my floral theme. It really felt like a one stop shop! We definitely had a lot of moving pieces in our wedding, including a flash mob, but Nataly and her team, from the moment they arrived, made sure everything ran smoothly! I didn't have to do anything and could just enjoy my wedding! I could tell throughout the wedding that Nataly and her team kept tweaking things in the background to maximize interaction. Including, moving desserts outside so that people could readily grab them while partying and moving one of our picture tables to an area where more people could see it since where I had placed it originally wasn't getting foot traffic. We also rented a margarita machine from Mimi's and ordered their homemade margarita mix, which was amazing! Everyone really enjoyed it, especially in hot TX weather! Don't sleep on the margarita machine! Anything we needed Mimi's had. My only regret is that we didn't hire Mimi's to do more and rent more stuff to make the day even more beautiful! We hired event assistants, furniture rentals and a day of coordinator from Mimi's Party Palace for our wedding on 2-16-2019. Nataly and her team were an absolute dream to work with. I knew nothing about weddings going in so I had tons of questions. From the beginning, Nataly did a great job communicating with me and answering all my questions. When I needed to hire 2 additional event assistants less than a week before my wedding, Nataly made it happen within a couple hours. Nataly and her team of event assistants did an amazing job setting up the venue and addressing any concerns the wedding guests had. When our caterer had issues or when additional guests we didn't account for showed up, they handled it with ease. They made sure our family was a priority and had everything we needed taken care of before we could even ask. The event assistants did a wonderful job cleaning things up as the wedding went on and were quick and efficient to break everything down after. Hiring Mimi's party palace was the best decision we made for our baby shower. I hate to get help from invited guests, but parties are so much work - food, decoration, drinks, refills, chairs, tables, clean up, music, games, the list just goes on. We had rented our local community resident event center for our event. Mimi's staff was on time early morning, dressed professionally and helped me do the entire setup, decoration, food and refills. Just within 15 mins, Nataly quickly understood the entire setup and decor, I didnt have to babysit or supervise them at all. Nataly came in and immediately put her finer touches on the balloons, flowers and table decor; really spruced up the place. You could really see she has an eye for decoration and party planning. Our guests were completely delighted with Nataly greeted them politely, received their gifts and offered them drinks. Drinks service was great throughout the party. We had kids in the party and as soon as they dropped anything like cake or drinks, Mimi's staff immediately cleaned it up - this made the clean up so easy at the end. Moreover, Nataly was great with kids and kept our drinks and cake safe from their craziness. Lastly, Mimi's party palace was also worked with us, when we had to reschedule our the event, couple of times and didnt charge us penalties. Our party ran over time, but still Nataly and her helper didnt take a break even for a minute, and very quickly dismantled all the tables and chairs and put them back. They worked tirelessly for 5 hours and even washed used glasses, serving dishes, took trash out and helped load left overs back into our cars. We would definitely hire them again for our next event. I hired Nataly as our Day of Wedding Coordinator and 2 Event Assistants. It was some of the best money I spent. Mimi's rates are competitive and they are very responsive via email (which worked for me since I am in a different time zone). The event assistants made our buffet seem more like a sit down dinner because they took the dirty plates away as people finished instead of at the end of the evening. They also provided clean up at the end of the night so we didn't have to press any family members into service. Mimi's is professional and well organized. After reaching out to several establishments and individuals for bartending services I felt like I should have just started at Mimi's Party Palace; now I know. Even though they were already booked on my event date Nataly was able to work it out and get someone to bartend at our wedding celebration. Leo arrived an hour early as planned and after reviewing where we wanted the service he went straight to work. Mind you we were still very busy trying to get everything setup so I left it up to him. I had absolutely nothing go wrong and if it did Nataly handled it without me having to worry so I could enjoy my special day. We hired Mimi's serving staff, bartenders, ordered charger plates, and a day of wedding coordinator. Her staff always made sure me and my husband and immediate family were ALWAYS taken care of. My mother has four sisters who all have very strong opinions and are always in charge of coordinating important family events. I didn't realize how important they would be, so we waited until just a few months before our wedding to search for someone. My now-husband and my mom were both skeptical about hiring someone, but from the moment that I first spoke with Nataly on the phone I knew she would be worth every single penny!! Nataly is so organized, responsive, and kind. You can truly tell that she loves weddings and that she treats every event as though she were helping execute it for a family member or friend. When I arrived at my venue the day of the wedding, Nataly was already running around following up with our florist, the photographer, and the DJ.
