I had a slide bounce house combo for my son's first birthday! When my older son got in and slid down the slide he came out wet and smelling like mildew. He had to go take a quick shower before the party stared because even his hair smelled like mildew. I climbed in the bounce house and water was bubbling up form the seams. I called them and they told me it was normal water from a cleaning and the water would run out. It was a brisk 54 out and the party started in 30 minutes. Plus, clean water wouldn't smell like mildew. I went back out later and the water was still coming and the bounce house was wet and smelled. I went in with towels and began trying to dry the bounce house. A load of nasty towels later the bounce house was still wet. (I had to wash the load of towels twice because they smelled like mildew). I called again and they sent someone to clean the bounce house. By the time they got back to clean the bounce house the party was half over. Two of guest had gone home to change becomes their children's clothes smelled like mildew. I asked the gentleman that was cleaning my bounce house to have his boss call me. That phone call was made to me. My husband was going to have them call his boss at pick up so we could get a partial refund for the time missed. Austin Bounce house opened our gate and went into our backyard without ringing the door bell or asking to be let into our yard. They literally came when it was dark and snuck the bounce house out so they don't have to talk to us. They even left the gate wide open. I am sure they don't want us hearing them close the gate. Very unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to enter someone's yard without permission. This was my first and last time I will EVER rent from them again. They never apologized for the dirty bounce house or even offered to make it right. My guest were floored by the mildew smelling wet bounce house. Very embarrassing! read more

Unfortunate experience this year. And a case of he said she said. I come home and our inflatable was in the process of going up. However, it is facing the wrong way - towards the fence where no parent will be able to see their six year old children. When I asked the driver to move it, he said he doesn't have time. Huht? Then, told me he is setting it up the way my hubby said and the way we had it last year. My husband disagreed and reiterated the way he said. And, nope from me too - I have photos from last year's party, I can tell you you are wrong. He said I had to call the boss. Happy to. When I called, the driver had already touched base. The boss told me as well that it was installed per my husband's instructions. I disagreed and also said I had photos from last year. He said it didn't matter and that the driver didn't have time. I expressed my concern to him about it not being visible to parents. Not his problem. Of course it isn't, I know this, but just hoping for reason.... I was upset. Thanked him for nothing and hung up. Then, turned to my precious little one and she is in tears. On her bday. She wants to know why the man couldn't just move it. Yikes. At this moment though? My hubby and father in law are helping the driver turn it. Angst, turmoil, etc could have all just been avoided if he would have just let us help him move it before it was even inflated. The kids will enjoy the slide, no doubt. But, me? I will find an alternate company next year. I was upset at how it was all handled. read more

UPDATE: we changed our reservation last minute from a slide to a bounce house and added a cotton candy machine. The guys came to set everything up early and it only took 15 min. I tipped them out since it was the Fourth of July and they were professional and courteous. Both the bounce house and cotton candy machine worked perfectly and were both good value for the money. My only complaint is that the guys did not knock on the door when they came back to pack up the stuff--they just walked through our back gate into our yard. But I wont deduct a star for that. Will definitely use them again. -------------------- We decided to rent a water slide from ABHR and the experience was quick and easy. Jeff worked with us when we needed to change our reservation last minute and was kind and courteous the whole time. I will update my review after the party. So far so good! read more

Really great at communication and working with our family. We had a rain out day and needed to postpone and it was really easy to do so with the company. They came to set up the morning of at 9am, our party didnt start until 2pm but they were very generous is arriving early and giving us extra time with the bounce house. Everything worked on the set up, we got a water slide. The delivery guy was also very polite and patient in working with us to figure out the best configuration for the slide set up. The came the same evening at 8pm to break down, we didn't even hear them in the backyard. They just let themselves in and quietly took down all the equipment, didnt even ask us to turn on the lights for them! Everything was very smooth and professional. In March I called Austin Bounce House and requested the T-Rex for my 5-year-old's dinosaur-themed birthday party. When I ordered it, I assured Jeff that it would fit through my standard privacy fence gate. On the day of the party, Danny and Christian delivered it and we found out I was wrong. My gate was too small. I was devastated to the point of tears. BUT Danny and Christian made it work. We took the gate door off the hinges and they got it into my backyard. It was extremely difficult because the thing is MASSIVE and extremely heavy. They worked really hard and I can not express my appreciation enough over the efforts mad by Danny and Christian that day. I rented the bounce house, two table, and twenty chair package for my HOA's National Night Out event. The website was easy to navigate and the prices are competitive/better than many of the other rental companies I looked at. Sebi was amazing and reached out to me multiple times throughout the day of my event to communicate delivery and event status. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and I needed to cancel my bounce house due to the pouring rain. Wasn't a problem and ABHR took the bounce house off my order promptly. Sebi delivered and helped to set up the tables and chairs and was flexible with picking up the items following the event. Great experience and customer service. Phenomenal customer sevice!!! Our party got started very late due to uncontrollable circumstances. When I called I spoke to Jeff and he let us extend from 7pm until 9pm at a more than reasonable rate. Then I called a second time to extend overnight and Jeff extended the rental again for another awesome rate! Super easy and so very helpful. The set up was so professional and quick. The gentleman who set up our water slide bouncy house and snow cone machine gave thorough instructions on care and use. Again so helpful! The rentals were in great condition and worked perfectly. I had reserved a bouncy house for my grandson's party in Smithville however the day before the September party I realized an enclosed bouncy house was going to be sweltering. We've used Austin Bounce House Rentals twice now and both times it was a huge success! I found them because I was looking for a Power Puff bouncy house. They didn't have one but instead of just saying "no" they went ahead and made a banner for me! Then my fickle daughter changed it to Trolls and they didn't make me feel bad about the extra work and were thankful that I brought to their attention a shortage of Power Puff themed bouncy houses! We just used them this past weekend for a movie night in the backyard and it was SO FUN! When Jeff came to set up it was still light outside so we couldn't tell if it was centered, too large or too small so he came back after dark to make sure it was all good.
