The child told me she couldn't go to school until it was safe! The owner began taking wigs off of the wall hangers and trying them on and then started cutting away on them. She said she had to get one ready to ship out but took the one she had tried on and trimmed on and boxed up the wig to ship. I never was so repulsed over a wig shop doing that type of selling of wigs. I couldn't bring myself to even purchase a wig from her at that point. I thanked her and left and bought my wig at "The Wigg Shop"! Oh what a joyous, professional and super worker who helped me feel better about having to purchase something I wasn't wanting to do and made me feel like a "human with cancer who wanted to maintain my dignity"! Over the past few years, my alopecia has worsen and I tried shaving my head. I wasn't comfortable enough to openly wear my bald head so I went this route. Tina was very professional and patient with me. It took a few weeks to get my custom wig but it was beautiful and worth the wait. It is truly an investment and I will truly take care of it because I will not be able to afford another one for awhile. After wearing the wig only a couple times, it began to get on my nerves (having the hair in my eyes) so I called Tina to make some adjustments. She had the wig for a week and took care of the problem. The only thing I wasn't quite ready for was the expense of getting it fixed after paying so much to purchase it, but I dare not have anyone else touch it.
