This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval I asked to speak to her manager. 12 minutes later and I get transferred to Soroya

Dr noori is a SADISTIC BUTCHER, in my personal opinion, which is based on my surgery he…read more"performed". I went in for a SMS replacement and came out traumatized, in horrendous pain. This was a surgery I have had twice before, by a competent and skilled Dr./surgeon. Obviously the skilled surgeon that did the first two was not Noori. In the 2 prior SMS surgeries, the incision was over a scar from my spinal fusion. Those incisions were closed professionally and without more disfigurement to an already straight thin scar. After surgery with Dr. Noori I have been left with a partially open scar and have a horrible reminder of being AWAKE and in pain the entire surgery. Yes, you read that correctly. Unlike any other surgery I have had, Dr. Noori knew I was awake and conversing/complaining of the excruciating pain to him. Begging him to knock me out, give more meds or stop. I was in agony. He just kept going, he was getting increasingly frustrated at me, complaining that it was my fault, my tolerance was too high, I had too much scar tissue etc.... he kept telling me (raising his voice) to stop moving, but didn't bother to increase the sedation. He was obviously frustrated and took it out on me. He kept injecting more lidocaine and bupivacaine. It was incredibly shocking and painful. I wish I had passed out. Pure sadistic torture. He then proceeded to only do sub cutaneous sutures followed by staples. Staples...to which he didn't properly seat on the sides of the incision. Several staples were held in the middle of the incision site/wound. Visibly open areas along the incision site...no tissue glue, no sterile strips.( the strips you see in a picture were placed by another Dr. Who removed the staples) That, in my opinion, is an unprofessional LAZY "surgeon". After I heard him storm out of the OR and I was told to move over to the gurney to go to post OP. My head was pounding. I mean a horrible pain. I personally have had lidocaine toxicity before, and this is exactly how I felt again. I cried, but I just wanted to go home. I sucked it up and did what I had to do to be released. No apologies from the Dr.. He also lied on my medical records. He put that I tolerated the surgery well. NO I DID NOT. I FELT IT ALL. EXCRUCIATING!! At my pre op appt with Noori, and the night before when the surgical nurse called and on the day of surgery I made it VERY clear I usually take more anesthesia than most. And that fentynol doesn't seem to do anything for my pain, yet that's what they used. They also admitted to looking at the wrong chart after pregnancy testing me before surgery... even though I told them and its in my history that I had a hysterectomy 12 years ago. Very scary. I finally got home, had a horrible headache for 3 days, was in excruciating pain. He didn't send in and antibiotics. I have a fusion and knee replacement and had these open wounds on my back. NO ONE called the next day to see how I was ( I've had 9 surgeries, they ALWAYS call and check on you the next day). This whole experience was disgusting and unprofessional. I have since had night terrors. I am also afraid to be operated on and I have a neck fusion coming up. THIS MAN NEEDS TO BE REPRIMANDED. pictures are of my scar before surgery, after and after staple removal by a medical professional, NOT THE BUTCHER Noori, I refuse to let him anywhere near me. I have to go to a different Dr. To see if the can fix the damage. Also, it has been 15 days since this nightmare of a surgery and I am STILL in pain. I cannot lay on my back, sit or stand up or walk really... we without severe pain. He took my normal 7 to a 10. Save yourself time, pain and mental health, do not hire this jerk.

But as for respect, caring, knowledge, they all seem to show nothing little to that, when being seen. I was able to get my referral quick to go over KRMC Imaging and in fact they had an opening that day, so I was able to go in and actually have my MRI done and get a disc that I dropped off to the doctors office just a couple hours later. Which made scheduling me for me up coming surgery even quicker.

**BEWARE** I called yesterday to look into seeing this…read moreorthopedic and they quickly booked an appointment for 230pm today. I was in a great mood when I arrived (30 mins early) very happy to finally see someone to deal with the constant pain I'm in. I entered and the young receptionist took my ID and insurance card and she already seemed upset (it was quite busy). She immediately canceled my appointment due to lack of referral but was also VERY ANNOYED with me. "You should know your insurance plan better!" I was told with lots of attitude. I was just kind of stunned. No, "hey I'm sorry we need a referral", just absolute vitriol for no reason at all. I explained that the insurance company had already authorized the referral but she did not seem interested and didn't ask me any questions or give me any advice. In fact, the less I understood, the angrier she seemed. "Well, what's the next step? What should I do?" "Get a referral." "But I did. I'm surprised you didn't ask for this on the phone." (She took my insurance details yesterday). "We don't have it." She just actively worked (it seemed with intent) to discharge me with no prospects of an appointment today or any day forward. No reassurance, no "I'm sorry, but once you get the referral, call us and we can help." she just seemed determined at this point to send me down the road because I had dared ask about how the referral works and how I'd best get it. She also was not willing to set an appointment for the future at all (why not?). I said "Thanks a lot." with sarcasm and left. I left with no appointment and still in a great deal of pain after negotiating time off with my employer and canceling the appointment I had with another provider (big mistake on my part). I then drove directly to my PCP here in Kingman (3 mins away) and got the referral almost immediately. I returned about 10 minutes after I had left and re-entered and a different (older, but much prettier and kinder) woman took my information and said I could be seen. At that moment, the previous (younger and much less pleasant) lady came in and with other patients waiting (I was already being helped) she interceded to stop the progress I'd made with the other receptionist. "What are you doing?" (to the other receptionist) "I'm helping this gentleman get seen, he wants to be a new patient with us." "He can't be seen. I canceled his appointment. He doesn't have a referral." "It's right here." "Well...it's not in the chart...so we don't have it." I interrupted. "It's ok, she's helping me." I said. (I was ignored). "The appointment is already canceled." At this point, with others waiting, she interrupted the receptionist who was already effectively helping me to block my progress. It was clearly personal and she made eye contact with me and smirked. "It's too late. I've already canceled this appointment. (I could've stayed to fill out the paperwork) She still offered no appointment or help. "What about my xray(s)? Do you have access to that? I want to avoid any other issues..." I was ignored (again) by the younger receptionist...who now seemed actively trying to impede me. The other (helpful and professional) person, answered, "It's no problem if your xray was done at KRMC. We will have access to them." "Great," I replied "So, there is nothing I need to do or any other document I need to provide for you?" "No, it should be fine. Can't he been seen? There's some time..." "No," interjected the younger one, "I have canceled the appointment." This was no longer about protocol...it seemed quite personal. "It's no big deal," I said, trying to be helpful "June 20th is fine." "What time?" She said (the mean one). "Oh, I guess that matters...afternoon?" "320pm" "Fine." I have no idea why I was treated that way. I was just abused the entire time. It seemed that in the end, this person who's supposed to help me turned a routine appointment setup into some kind of competition to harm me. That is NOT why I am here. She took obvious delight in pushing out my appointment particularly when she had no clear reason to do so. Especially when I'm also being told next day appointments are available. I'd arrived with plenty of time to spare and when it was obvious I'd had the referral, it clearly became a personal issue for this person and I have no idea why. Did I do something? Do I have to worry about a grudge from the receptionist? I need medical treatment! Not some kind of drama. I do my best to treat others with respect not to expect them to understand how I want things done for my convenience. Even on a busy day I treat my customers with respect and help them understand solutions to any problems or issues that get in their way. At best, this is a receptionist who forgot their place and manners. At worst it was someone who took delight in suspending my treatment for their own gratification because I dared to ask for help or show any emotion at all.

She's also the one that takes your vitals and preps the doctor on what your visit is for. Speaking of warm, Dr. Rivera has the best bedside manner that I've ever received from a doctor -- and that covers a lot of ground. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable -- and perhaps more importantly -- always gives you time to speak about your concerns and ensures that you leave with a game plan and that you fully understand her reasoning behind it. I highly recommend this office for any of your health needs, especially since it's so difficult for locals to find good healthcare here. PS: Keep in mind that they're closed from 12PM-1PM for lunch.

I've never had a primary care provider who did such a thorough initial assessment. I'm able to easily get an appointment, visits were on time and Dona takes her time to address my concerns. I had been unwell for over 6 months and no one could figure out why. Dona was able to order testings, refer me to specialists and we finally figured out why I was sick. I've had some chronic health issues that no other providers cared to treat. Now I'm on meds to manage my symptoms. Centered Health also has TENS pain relief therapy that really helped me with neck and back pain. I also get Vitamin D3 and weekly weight management injections. Give Centered Health a try. They're awesome.
