Mental health is so important and I'm glad my hubby found Linda. I wanted to treat my ADHD again and she thoroughly explained how our brains work and why we do what we do. She was very welcoming and takes the time to get to know you. She explains which meds would benefit better than others, taking in consideration of what your opinion is also. As follow up visits you have the option to come in person or Zoom calls. No one should feel ashamed for getting help no matter what the issue. I can't brag about this place enough. Absolutely love them. Linda seems to have moved and I was seen by the lady named REANNA and she was absolutely lovely. Well its taken me a long long time to update this review but theyve honestly never made it right. Trying to summarize, i was told to come in sometime at the end of the year in december to take a pee test that is required yearly, ok no problem. Well other than me being chronically ill & its hard to leave my house, so yeah kind of a problem but no worries. I even called the week before coming in to confirm i can come in anytime to do the test. yes. okay. I put forth the effort to get out of bed & have my parents drive me down to the office, bladder full, only to walk in to chaos. the office informs me the doctor quit AND they also no longer take my insurance?! seriously? i was shocked, i remained shocked for over a year honestly. its been tough. its hard to find a doctor who listens. they said they would call me with updates or if they would take my insurance, never did. actually never even got told anything ever again. So i have no adhd medication that helps me wake up from my sleeping disorder & helps me get anything done (executive dysfunction on top of all my other issues, suddenly without meds or help) and no more of my propranolol to help with anxiety so i call. besides they up and decided to not renew with my insurance? anyway its been awhile since whatever drama & mess that the doctor leaving caused. but i was long forgotten about. in fact, only got worse. more anxious, bed bound, stay home all the time in pain, and whats the point in exerting alp my energy when i get the rug pulled out from under me. im tired. i just sleep all the time. disappointed. i had been improving and this office helped in the past with pharmacys and helping me get much needed medication. dropped me out of nowhere, anxiety and adhd has only gotten worse. why try read more

I can't recommend this place at all, unfortunately. I had an appointment with Jennifer Russo and it was a pretty terrible experience all around. She was nearly 40 minutes late to my appointment which was very disappointing. I was waiting in the online meeting room and I had to call the practice on a different phone to see if my appointment had been cancelled or something. She did apologize for being so late at least. Everything else went south pretty quickly from there. There were several instances where she would ask me a question about how I am doing, but I really felt like she didn't care about what my answer was going to be and she already had determined everything she needed to know by looking at my chart (I have ADHD). As an example, she asked how my sleep was and I told her by and large its good, but I have noticed its taking me longer to fall asleep recently. She immediately told me its because of my ADHD medication and that she can't prescribe me "an upper AND a downer" which felt like an assumption on her end as to what I was looking for help with, I didn't even bring up wanting something prescribed at all. There were a few other things that really stood out as red flags, including her referring to it as "ADD" a few times. That term hasn't been used since the 80's and I really expect a professional to know that. She said I am going to be an addict because of my medication, which again, felt so assumptive because she didn't actually ask about my dosage which has been the same for nearly a year, and she also didn't ask if I take breaks or not, which I do. She was talking as if I immediately told her to increase my dosage and send the refill in TODAY which was really upsetting. I don't want to change anything, just a routine refill. When I told her that she questioned why I even had an appointment to begin with and I let her know my pharmacy has had issues with standing orders and typically won't refill them unless I make a monthly appointment. Her response was to tell me I'm wrong (I wish I was) and she called the pharmacy with me on the line still, but it felt like she was just trying to prove a point instead of actually help. It really feels like she doesn't think ADHD is real and that anyone looking for help managing it is a druggie and that is so, so disappointing. The other very frustrating thing about this practice is the front office staff tends to come off as rude when I call. I understand customer facing positions are very difficult and how that can affect a person day to day and I don't think they are that way intentionally, but it is still not what you would expect when calling an office, let alone an office that offers psychiatric care. I'm sure she is great if you have other psychiatric needs, but if you are looking for care for ADHD specifically, stay away unless you want to be treated unfairly and unprofessionally. read more

I have been coming here since 2021, and the office staff are AMAZING! I have been seeing Linda Hawley for the same amount of time. She was good at the beginning and then started to decline. I was on and off medications and just found out the cocktail of medications she had me on were NOT! supposed to be mixed. I even had serotonin syndrome and got really sick. When I couldn't get my meds, all I got were shitty comments from Linda. She would tell me her other clients are getting them. Well, when the state regulations change and people are treating stimulants like tic tacs, it was impossible. FYI, people who have Bipolar should not be on an adhd stimulant. It causes massive rage. I had an appointment to see her, but was told what REALLY! happened. She pretty much screwed all her patients and canceled things. Who in their right mind would do that to those who need medications and help. She canceled all their insurance contracts, so they couldn't take anyone. To help they were allowing people to come in without charging. Just an FYI, Linda was not the heart of that place, the staff are. They did everything! If something was done, it was by the staff. Linda was lazy and blamed her staff. This place has been 100 times better since she has been gone. Everyone on here making bad reviews is so quick to throw shade and talk bad about this office and staff when really Linda was the problem. Stop being Karen's and learn the real story before trying to ruin people's lively hoods. Life isn't perfect ; stuff happens and listen to your doctor. They are properly educated not to mix certain medications for a reason. She would cut my appointments short so she could see her own psychiatrist, really! She would forget to talk to me about important changes or not tell me about my blood tests that were so important. She never even communicated with me when my appointments were canceled. The office took care of me and set me up with a psychiatrist who is WAY! more educated in medications and cared more about me and not mixing medications that shouldn't be mixed together. This is my first experience getting psychiatric care and it was great. I met with Monique and she was very kind and encouraging for me to give my thoughts and opinions. She is very thorough and knowledgeable, considering my background and all details possible. She really cares about working as a team with what you're comfortable with. I initially came in thinking I might have ADHD but Monique is very knowledgeable in Bipolar II and it seems much more accurate to me. I have been with this office for the last year, this has been an amazing experience. I have recently changed practitioners due to the departure of the one I was seeing, and this was a seamless transition. I finally feel like the appointment is about me and the anxiety I have been experiencing. My previous provider was convinced that I was ADHD and put me on medications that caused mania like symptoms. I have started seeing Jennifer and this has made a world of difference. I have always loved the front desk girls they are warm welcoming and have always helped with medication and insurance issues. When I moved here six years ago I began the search for a psychiatrist who could manage my medications. The psychiatrists available through my health insurance always had a few months waiting list or they were not taking new patients. What to do? I asked my primary care physician to recommend someone and, unfortunately, he agreed with my assessment of the situation. Not enough doctors for too many patients. He recommended Linda Hawley, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. It was the best recommendation I could have ever gotten. Linda was able to regulate, reassess and manage my medications resulting in such a positive outcome. She really knows her stuff! To put it in simple terms, Linda is heaven sent. It's been probably 6 months now and My quality of life is better since becoming a patient of hers. When choosing a psychiatrist I told myself, whoever of these referrals answers my call instead of sending me to voicemail, I will choose. I called and within two rings had an answer and an appointment set up. The staff here is lovely. Linda made me feel heard, supported, and safe. I was educated on my treatment plan in a way I've never had a psych explain meds and brain chemistry to me before. I had some issues with my script which required several calls to resolve. None of these issues were Access's fault, it was my insurance. Any time I called someone answered immediately and helped me promptly. I'm so glad I found this place! I've heard nightmare horror stories about practices that never answer, don't help, don't listen, over prescribe, and minimize patients. It made me afraid to even get help. I'm an adult who has always had suspicions of possibly having ADHD/ bipolar, but was only sure of my anxiety and depression. Linda was my first psychiatrist and she dissolved all of my fears about mental health treatment. I was so afraid of my suspicions being doubted and the hoops I might have to jump through for a proper diagnosis. As soon as I named them during my first appt she immediately gave me a test and prescribed me the same day. Her and her office staff are wonderful, she explains the medications to me in a way I understand and educates on the impact to your brain chemistry for full disclosure. They all do their best to provide guidance whenever you have questions about what you're on which I am very thankful for. This doctors office is very clean and follows the Covid masking requirements. The staff here is caring and considerate. I LOVE MY DOCTOR Linda Hawley. She gets what your going through and is extremely easy to talk with. She explains what is going on in your body and uses pictorial graphics to drive it home. For decades I have struggled with Bi Polar and Major Anger issues. I've been to MANY therapists in the past. Some good, some not so good. Linda leans more towards really good. She not only has helped identify and stabilize several key mental problems, but has also helped me zero in on a couple of physical problems that will allow me to better take care of myself. Dr. Linda Howley and staff are so genuine and caring! Making an appointment at this office was the first step in taking care of my mental health and I could not be more relieved! Coming into the appointment I felt anxious and nervous with what to expect. The moment I walked in the door for my appointment I felt a feeling of ease as the staff was so welcoming and friendly. The man who brought me back for my appointment, took my vitals and asked me a few questions before seeing Dr. Linda. He was so laid back, easy to talk to and I felt heard and understood without judgment about what was going on with me. When it was time for me to see Dr. Linda she walked me back into her office and the first thing she asked was "so what's going on". I explained how I was feeling and what I was struggling with and without a doubt she said "were going to fix all that". She asked me a series of questions to help better understand what I've been going through and gave me true hope and reassurance that together we will fix my mental health. Not only did she prescribe me the correct medications she explained what my brain was doing, and why it was doing that. She took the time to draw visuals to help me better understand my brain and how we were going to fix it.
