    Sad one crazy statue! Lol

Great place for family board games, adult themed games, toys and collectible items. They carry a lot of really cool and strange items too! Ninja swords and knives and then there's stacked magnets or a magic race track that you draw and the car follows! Talk about variety. It gets a bit congested with all the cool stuff inside and that makes it a bit hard to get help at times. The more people, the bigger the mess, but that's not the stores fault. There was products all over the place. There was one employee that just stood outside the store swinging a yo-yo. I found that odd while the store was crowded.

On 12-18-2023 I went to this store and I went to purchase a small Hello Kitty plush that was $7.99 (8.47 with taxes). When I placed my phone on the POS system to pay with Apple Pay I was charged $61.83. I told the cashier that I was charged an incorrect amount and he quickly "canceled" the transaction. I checked my bank mobile and saw that the transaction went through as pending. When I confronted the cashier about it. He immediately denied it and got defensive. He said that the purchase of $61.83 didn't exist. After spending half an hour going back and forth about this. Nothing was done. They just said that the money was probably on hold and it would return to my account immediately. So we left it at that. MIND YOU, they gave me the receipt of the person that purchased before me ( $53.00 taxes included) and the purchase I had to remake of $8.47 (Yes I had to pay AGAIN for this Hello Kitty). And here's something I found funny. The previous purchase was $53 total... and add the purchase that I was making... hmm. That seems to be 61 dollars. If that's not a coincidence I don't know what it is. Now let's fast-track to 12-19-2023. The transaction went through as I saw in my bank statements. So I went today to the store once again and I spoke to the manager who spoke to someone in "Corporate". They also said that the transaction doesn't exist on their end. That if it did exist it would go back to my account. MIND YOU, the manager said that they had a new POS system in which they had to close out transactions manually, and if they didn't close them out then whatever was scanned would be added to the invoice that was currently open. So it appears that on the day of the transaction, the cashier did not close out the previous tab. And in result, I had to pay a total of $61.83. But guess what? They're STILL not giving me my money back. Because that transaction "doesn't exist".

They have a no return policy for collectibles yet the receipt said nothing along the lines that!

Last week, I brought my MacBook Air in for a screen replacement. I scheduled a free consultation…read morethrough their website, and when I arrived, my name was already listed on their service screen as waitlisted. The wait was short, and the staff member who checked me in was incredibly kind and patient. I'll admit--I went in expecting the stereotypical grumpy tech experience, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. Even an older couple ahead of me was treated with care and patience as they asked questions about setting up their new device. It was genuinely impressive. After taking in my laptop, they let me know they'd need to order parts from Apple before proceeding. Since parts only ship on weekdays, they offered to keep me updated via my preferred method--text--which I really appreciated. Throughout the week, their communication was prompt and clear. I was notified as soon as the parts arrived and when new issues came up. That's how I learned that, in addition to my cracked screen, my battery also needed replacement. Via text, I was quoted around $426 for both repairs, which I agreed to, assuming it reflected the total cost for parts and labor. However, when I picked up my laptop yesterday, the final bill came out to over $800. The original ~$426 quote didn't seem to correspond to any of the line items on the receipt. Had I known the total would be nearly double, I likely wouldn't have moved forward with the repair. All that said, I truly appreciated the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. I just wish the pricing had been more transparent and consistent. Here's hoping my now very expensive (and not-so-new) laptop lasts another 10 years to make it all feel worth it.

Need to buy, sell or trade some sports cards and/ or memorabilia. Corliss cards is the perfect spot…read moreto do so! They opened March of 2025. As I walked around I noticed they even have a selection of Pokémon and other trading card games merchandise. But, Pokemon was the biggest selection over the rest of the TCG merchandise available. That is right up my son's alley. The owner Nick happened to be working when I was in. He was very helpful in locating a few cards that we were looking for. He is even helping us locate a few that he did not have. As he does have a few connections. You can find him also operating a booth at local card shows. The pricing at Corliss cards is extremely fair and reasonable. Everyone deserves to have that special card at just the right place. Ha! I feel that way about antiques. His space is shared with a record store and Jake's Baristas. When I was there Jake's was getting a little facelift, but should be back up and running by early to mid November. I've heard so many great things about Jake's. Jake's baristas is a 501c non profit. Their mission is inclusion revolution. You really have to look them up on social media. They do a lot of great work. They are all about giving back to the community. A majority of the baristas have special needs. This is a fantastic mission! The support Nick gives to the Special Needs community also holds a special spot in my heart as I work with special needs kiddos. He really shows passion not only for his business but also for the special needs community. Christmas shopping is just around the corner. Start shopping now.
