Claudia is the best dental hygienist in Fort Lauderdale! I lived here since 1952. I wish I could give her more than five stars.

Only reason why I give this dental practice 1 star is dental assistant unprofessional behavioral actions on 11, August 2025. (The one time I do not record, something occurred). My appointment was for an oral extraction. Approached by dental assistant to discuss remainder balance of permanent bridge process. In midst of conversation, dental assistant pushed my shoulders and I told her do not push me. I explained I made calls in past and no one returned my phone calls. Receptionist verified she called and left voicemails, I have received nothing not even an email. Yes I reached out to check on status of arrival on permanent bridge and oral extraction. Verified with police and other medical practitioners no professionals is allowed to push a patient. Dental assistant admitted to pushing me and apologized moments later. A few months ago, the receptionist declined my option to pay off early, twice. If I did not want to pay, why would I still reach out and find alternative options to pay off balance? Absolutely absurd, to think I paid thousands and time well spent into this dental procedure; very, very tedious process. I was told by dental assistant I had to pay what the insurance did not cover. Verified with my insurance this dental office in fact did received the approved claim 8.9.25. I was advised by insurance to wait, until all claims are approved and finalized, so I would NOT overpay. Overall satisfied with my look permanent bridge completed on 28 July 2025 easy process of 45min. and pain free. Yes I do love my teeth and received countless compliments. No I will NOT change the one star review, I truly prefer no contact. Bill pay is best method to send payments to avoid any altercations. I get what I paid for and unfortunately, this ordeal is considered a "he say she say". Yes I left my dentist, they changed to "out of network". Should have listened to other review, save me unnecessary drama. read more

Since Dr. Chencin sold his business this place under Dr. Mingel changed the approach to treat diverse clients. The new secretary was consistently rude and short on her responses. I continued visiting them for over two years because they hold my work for more than 7 years. I never met Dr. Mingel's face. They just basically categorized/chose who could treat Dr. Chencin patients and was not him. I continued doing my cleaning regularly and never saw his face. This year I visited them for a concern and they blamed on me that I refused to get X-Rays in my last cleaning which is a slander. How could I refuse X-Rays that are cover for my dental insurance and intended to avoid any surprises. They didn't assessed my concern instead they pointed out others things that required of course thousands of dollars to cover. The nurse brought to me a Lady Dr. Dana I believe - I don't even recognize her face because they never personalized their services after Dr. Chencin left. Then she said many things and nothing at the same time and left me with tons of questions, delegating my concerns to the assistant who was the bringing back and forth the Dr? suggestions...to my concerns. This is my experience and it is the truth ... at the end it is just a business and a corporation taking over the business of others without caring for the human aspect... I visited other dentist and turned out that the concerned I brought to them continued and it was more critical than the other procedures they want to sale..."Doctors take an oath to protect and genuinely care for humans....that was not what I experienced at Dr. Mingel, Ft L office. read more

Broken Tooth needed root canal to be able to install a crown...excellent work from start to finish. Professional Dental Care

I am a visitor from the UK with a Ft Lauderdale vacation home. My daughter and family are currently visiting, her old crown came away with half of the decayed tooth. Dr Mingel attended without delay, explained the rotten tooth needed removing to avoid infection and abscess He did the procedure very professionally with a nice patient manner, his charges were very reasonable. Dr. Marc Mingel is a fabulous dentist and staff is wonderful too. He is very thorough and considerate . My daughter went to him after a bad experience with another dentist and turned out she had 10 cavities and was leaving to go overseas for six months in two days. He rearrange his schedule to accommodate her before she left. His dental hygienist is fabulous also. read more

OK so basically I went there to have a cavity filled right? So when I got there they were so rushy and made me uncomfortable. When I sat down in the chair I felt something prick my butt but I ignored it. They numbed my gums wrong so when they filled my cavity it hurt so bad, they didn't even tell me to have a good day!! :( read more

I'm someone who clenches and grinds when I'm anxious and during sleep. After grinding through two night guards, Dr. Mingel suggested I give Botox a try. After my first treatment, I completely stopped clenching and grinding for the first time in my life, and no longer have a sore jaw. It has seriously been a miracle for me and I can't recommend Dr. Mingel highly enough. I Just had my second Botox treatment and I barely felt his injections (Dr. Mingel is always very gentle) and have had zero bruising. Forgot to mention..I also fly down from NYC to see Dr. Mingel! I had a wonderful experience last week at Dr. Mingel's dental practice. In general I am not one to like dentists so the fact that he calmed my nerves was a huge relief. He was very nice and easy to talk to. I also loved that I didn't have any cavities. His hygienist was lovely and did a great job cleaning my teeth too. My teeth looked and felt great when she was finished. The office staff was also very warm. It was so nice to be treated so well by everyone. Overall, I was highly impressed with them. His hygienist gave me a great cleaning.I went to Dr Mingel on a referral from a friend because I was unhappy with my dentist who told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work. Going to the Dentist has always been tough for me, but I can honestly say that since I've started seeing Dr. Mingel, that fear is no longer there. He's very skilled and gentle at a craft where it is generally difficult to be gentle. The other office staff and hygienists are upbeat and make you feel at home as well.
