Please please please use this office if you need a dentist. They are the best I have ever experienced! I just visited this office because I had a very bad toothache. I went to another dentist a week ago because I had pain. Basically they did a bunch in my mouth and I was still in constant pain- so I decided to come to Dental Las Olas to see if they could fit me in and help me. I walked in keeping my fingers crossed as I had no appointment. Beth up front was amazing! She saw I was in pain and was able to get me back quickly to see the dentist. The dentist was amazing! He was so kind and explained to me that I needed a root canal and quickly got me in to a specialist to be seen. He also gave me an antibiotic and pain meds- because I had an infection (which the other dentist did nothing about!) I will continue to use this dentist from now on. They are so compassionate and caring and I know I will be taken care of here! Thank you again so so much! read more

This dental office is amazing! It is so convenient, clean, and cheerful! EACH member of the staff is personable and extremely professional. As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted by the ever smiling, positive, kind and super efficient Practice Coordinator, BETH! She really knows her stuff! She offers the first impression and has never disappointed! She does everything she can to make sure your experience goes well, she's on top of the billing, and is very accommodating with the appointments which are expertly timed. I have always left there feeling completely satisfied. They get to know you and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. So they have a nice office in a beautiful location (1 star YAY) big deal. The staff is also nice(1 star YAY) but transparency is not their thing or maybe it's a lack of knowledge. The hygienist couldn't answer my questions. Obviously, I wouldn't give her chance to tell me what I needed and why I needed it that's not her job. To make matters worst, after my cleaning I felt meat stuck between my teeth. I just had a cleaning? I had lunch and I told the hygienist. You'd think she would make sure she cleaned better? nope. They were too busy informing me that my insurance would pay for more services since I get more than what I've already had for the year. The dentist gives you a big smile, but she's too busy for a consultation. She came in my room with her googles and mask on (wish that was the norm and the safest way to take care of patients. Id save a lot of time) to tell me what I needed. Dude, how can you tell a patient what they need without assessing them? Zero star worthy. Look no further - Dr. Selmic is simply the best on all levels. She is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, personable and HONEST which is difficult to find these days. I have been her patient for a few years and I will be her patient until she retires. I brought my daughter who is now 20 to Dr. Selmic for a second opinion, after she had initially gone to another dentist for an exam and was told she had seven cavities and that her gums were having issues to the point they were recommending a deep cleaning, I found that hard to believe as we regularly visit the dentist. Dr. Selmic did a complete examination and informed us that my daughter did not have any cavities let alone seven and that her gums were perfectly healthy . . . we were so happy and relieved to hear that and at the same time so disappointed/disturbed that some other dentist was trying to scam my daughter. Appointments and follow up with Beth the office manager are easy to get and they are extremely accommodating with your schedule. I've been going there for 5+ years now and I honestly have never waited longer than 5 minutes to be seen. I have had some serious dental issues due to trauma and Dr. Selmic's reconstruction was not only flawless, but made my smile even brighter and more beautiful. I LOVE my new front teeth! :) They were also able to diagnose a rare inner root resorption caused by the trauma which left untreated would have turned into an extremely painful abscess. I never thought I would use the words "joy" and "dentist" in the same sentence, but my appointments with Dr. Selmic and everyone in her office make going to the dentist a joy!
