Came for lunch to check it out. Ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and a Spicy Chicken Rice Noodle dish. Now the server was great, the place was very clean and even the food was fine. It just wasn't near as good as other places near by. I found a small smokey taste in the spicy chicken that ruined the dish slightly. Not sure why it tasted that way. The spring rolls were ok but then again a I had had much better at other places near by. read more

Family run establishment that we have used for larger work functions as well. The broth in the Pho soup is very flavorful and the fresh rolls and fried spring rolls are nice and big. Some of the best Vietnamese food in the city, staff is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is short and concise, but still has lots of options for people to try. The portions are very genrous, your sure to not leave on an empty stomach. Very high quality for the price point it's at, the staff clearly care for the food they serve. Service is very quick, at most you will wait maybe 10-15 minutes for your meal which is faster then most restaurants .All in all its a great place to go if you want some great, moderately priced Vietnamese food. read more

I had the special if the day. Was really very good and fresh. Very cheap. Special was like 9 dollars. Spring rolls were excellent. Highly recommend this place. I talked to a customer outside the door. He said he eats here all the time and travels from city centre to get here all the time and bang for your buck. This place is gonna be super tough to beat. The pho was decent albeit the broth is very heavily vegetable based. I'm afraid to ask what the vegetarian broth would taste like as I imagine it would be the same or very close. That isn't to say the broth isn't good but it's definitely not the usual flavor that you would get at a traditional pho place. My experience with this is based on the best places in Ontario such as Pho Hung on Spadina in Toronto and their Mississauga branch as well as chains such as Pho Dau Bo, etc. Which is not to say I'm an expert but I have tried a great deal of places during my time in Ontario seeking out great Pho. The reason why this doesn't rate a 4 star but instead, a 3 star is because the service was generally good however what annoyed me was that when I asked for tea, they never mentioned a charge and when I received it, it was surprising. An Asian restaurant demanding payment for loose-leaf jasmine tea? This must be something local to Saskatchewan as any Asian restaurant doing that in Ontario was usually bad to begin with. read more
