Mr C ordered the Shanghai Noodles which has both chicken and shrimp (and it's not the small dinky sized ones!) and it was absolutely scrumptious! Highly recommend adding some chili oil to level it up For myself, I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken which comes with an egg , side of carrots and lettuce and 2 spring rolls Once my food arrived, I immediately noticed the green onion and onion smell (not a fan) but I also noticed the delectable aroma of the lemongrass chicken So, I did what I usually do and scraped off the bits of green onion from the rice and proceeded to eat my meal! Rice, chicken and egg were The rice was cooked just the way I liked and lemongrass chicken were so flavourful! The egg was surprising as I expected over-hard but it was more over-medium so it a even better I tried to overcome the onion scent/flavour from the spring rolls but after eating two (delicious) pieces, I decided I really can't anymore so Mr C got lucky and ate the rest for me (along with the lettuce/carrots hehe). read more

I ordered the spring roll and laksa. I enjoyed the laksa. It had great flavor and tons of shrimps and scallops. The laksa broth was delicious. Only complaint was the heat level. My server told me the locals (ahem...Canadians) can't handle the spice. I didn't enjoy the spring roll as much as I should be. It's was served slightly warm and with the peanut dipping sauce. The sauce was different. I don't know what they use but I swore it tasted like there's hoisin. read more

service was really good ambiance , nice , clean, well maintained establishment. food- second visit, mostly convenient location. 1 st. visit had ginger beef, very chewy, taste was off as if an economy or old cut of meat was used. 2 nd visit - had a combo noodle bowl, it was O.K. but not great. Took a take away container home and tasted it after... 3 kinds of meat and they all tasted identical, why would I order it again. My friend also conferred he was underwhelmed. Too Chewy. My conclusion: Too expensive for the quality, same product down the street for 30% less. Quality lacking. I'm not being cheap, but generally ppl like value and I really believe businesses should be made aware of good/ not so good, service/ quality / value. I shall not be returning there. read more

Lots of advertising out front that they cater to vegans, so that got us in the door. They have a large, separate vegan menu, with all sorts of different Asian items (pho, ramen, Thai and Chinese dishes). We ordered takeout for lunch for one day. I got the mixed vegetable chow mein (vegan), which came out with vegan "chicken" and lot of veggies. Generous portion, tasty but a bit salty. The "chicken" was fantastic -- great texture. My wife ordered the pad thai and was very happy with it also. We split fresh garden rolls, which were tasty as well -- the peanut sauce is rich, a touch sweet, but well-made. Prices are maybe a tad high, but still pretty reasonable. Great spot for vegans in downtown Saskatoon. read more

We're very excited to see this new addition to Saskatoon's downtown restaurant scene. Located in the Birk's Building on 21st Street (in the same space previously occupied by Truffles) they offer an excellent range of mainly Japanese options, with some interesting influences from other Asian cuisines. Their sushi is fresh and adventurous, and the presentation is very well executed. Our lunchtime bento plate was delicious: five generous nigiri and a six piece salmon maki roll (with beautiful, melt in your mouth salmon) for only $15 - quality ingredients, great taste and very good value for money. Also worthy of mention was the quality of the miso soup; aromatic and richly flavoured it was easily one of the best miso soups we've encountered. We enjoyed lunch so much that we returned for dinner a couple of days later. One of us feasted on maki and nigiri, including an order of their beautifully plated and tasty sushi tea platter. By all reports all varieties of nigiri and maki were excellent. We are curious about where they source their fish. As far as we can discern it's not previously frozen, which is a bit of a feat here in the heart of the prairies. Our other choice was the W.O.W. chicken, which is their take on Thai boneless, stuffed chicken wings. Seasoned does a version with a delicious savoury rice, flavoured with a delicious smoky bacon. Unique and delicious! Much to our delight, they serve two of our favourite teas: a Goji Berry black tea; and, a roasted rice green tea. Both are served loose leaf with apparently limitless (and very attentive) recharges of appropriately hot (not boiling) water. Finally, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is worthy of praise. They are effortlessly friendly and attentive, and are genuinely focused on your enjoyment of the food and the ambience. This place is a vegetarian's dream come true. When we first found it, the prices were a bit more reasonable but I can understand how in time the prices would increase. It's now a treat for special occasions vs a place we order from every week. A very nice restaurant on the inside if you're wanting to dine in, but the takeout is also superb. The vegan ginger beef, lemon chicken, pad thai and fried rice are all fantastic for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike! Chef Ivan is a artist! His Sushi is as eye catching as it is delicious. This place is a newer addition to the saskatoon restaurant scene being open less than 2 months. It has quickly become one of my favorites. It is a cozy and relaxing environment seating roughly around 50 people total. A true diamond in the rough. You will be treated with top notch service as well as world class food. The sushi here is nothing short of amazing (and I moved from BC's west coast after spending 14 years out there). This restaurant caters to all diets weather you're a meat eater or follow a plant based diet. They are open for both lunch and supper. They offer a fusion of tastes incorporating Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. A friend and I wanted to order in. The reviews for fusion were all great so we picked this one over many other options. I ordered the vegan chow mein and he ordered loaded pho with no shrimp. The restaurant's website made the dishes look great with the photos chosen, with plenty of ingredients in each though the ingredients were not listed on the site. What we received was shocking. The vegan chow mein was literally just thin rice noodles with hot sauce provided for $12 and the 'loaded' pho was various beef parts with onions in a broth, really disappointing and not what was pictured to even a slight degree for $14. I called the restaurant because I thought there was a mix up. The person I talked to was super unhelpful, mentioned that the photos on the website were not meant to be representations on the meals? and then basically said tough luck. I suggested they update the photos on their website to better reflect the meals; but that wasn't received. I was mostly disappointed in the lack of vegetables on both meals, especially with one being vegan. I could've bought rice noodles from a grocery store for two dollars and made a better meal for cheaper. Bummer. read more

An all-around amazing eating experience! I went to Seasoned with my family for lunch and was amazed by the food here. The sushi was probably the best we've had in the city and their pho and fried rice were also exceptionally delicious. As a sushi lover the quality didn't disappoint me, but it's very pricy for what you get. Same dinner combination of Salmon sashimi, salmon nigiri would cost half as much in any sushi place in Vancouver!! Staff are great and service is good, but it's not friendly to your wallet read more
