This RV site is situated right next to US-93 and the Bitterroot river. There is some traffic noise,…read morebut it's not intrusive, and dies down at night. There are two kinds of spots, those with full hookups and those with water and power only. The ones without sewer are down by the river amongst the trees and this is where we stayed, right next to the river. Very relaxing. The site is nicely landscaped and maintained, with plenty of grass and trees dotted around. There is a slipway if you have a small boat. The river can also be fished and the on site general store sells all kinds of fishing gear, as well as many other things, including locally sourced preserves and honey. I bought a jar of the organic salsa and it was so good that I ate it all in one sitting. The store also sells souvenir items and alcoholic beverages, including local Montana brews - so I had to try some - very good! They also sell propane. The staff in the store are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a 'restroom, shower and laundry' block on site - I didn't use the laundry, but the showers are nice, you are provided a code to get in. There are also poop bags provided and doggy waste collection container. The rear area of the site by the river is behind a lift up barrier and you are provided a card to operate this to get in, it automatically lets you out. There are nice views of mountains in the distance and a cycle path all the way to Missoula if you want to go that far... We've certainly enjoyed our stay here so far and would recommend it to anyone.

ALL REVIEWS BEFORE 2021 ARE INVALID! THATS WHEN THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER!…read more This is the 6th or 7th time we've stayed here since 2021. I want to tell you what happened to us last night. At about 9:30 PM, I was sitting in my RV when I looked outside and walking up the road, about 20' from us was a HUGE Bull Moose! It stood at least 6' at the shoulder and had the largest rack I have ever seen! From ground to the tip of the rack he was easily at least 10'! I'd say between 600-800 lbs! He casually walked through the camp like he owned the place, walked to the fence and leaped over to the neighbors property. He was BEAUTIFUL! You won't see that in Seattle, Portland, New York, or even Missoula!

What a little gem this store is! Granted, the prices are definitely higher than a chain grocery…read morestore, but that is to be expected for a local market. They have a surprisingly good selection of ethnic foods and spices and carry a huge array of local craft beer. They also have a bulk section that is much bigger than I would expect for a small hometown market. Their produce is always fresh which is something I can appreciate. Right as you walk into the store, there is deli which also offers a hot section things like fried chicken and corn dogs. If you are in the Stevensville area, this is a great place to pick up any grocery items you may need without having to drive all the way to Missoula or Hamilton.

This place has a fantastic wine selection for the size of market and location. The buyer does an…read moreexcellent job of sourcing lots of Old World, less commercialized varietals and producers at a reasonable price. Will be a devoted customer for this reason alone. Produce selection is also pretty solid. Meat department selection is lacking, but a friendly staffer was very kind to cut and package what I needed on the spot. Reason for 4 vs 5 stars? Check out experience. Less than friendly service every time. Lack of efficiency, seemingly zero motivation to get people rung up as quickly as possible. I'll tolerate way less than ideal service if done with a smile and a visible desire to do better. But when less than ideal service is coupled with an apathetic or even surly attitude? You're lucky I'm still winning in the wine department.

Worst experience. Our family was traveling from Montana to Idaho and needed to stop somewhere safe…read moreto sleep/camp. It was after midnight. There were a bunch of tent sites available, we called the Sula camp host and left a voicemail letting them know of our intentions and identified the vehicle we were in. The online Camp Sula website was not working either. There were signs up by the camp store that indicated if we parked in the parking lot we could be towed. So we opted to park far away from everyone at an empty tent site. Went to sleep with the family. At approximately 8 am individual aggressively started pounding on our truck windows waking us up. Presumably the camp host, he did not identify himself, he was armed and angry. I tried shake his hand and introduce myself but he declined. It was hostile. He scolded me that we were loud and inconsiderate and should have just slept on the side of the road. He asked what our plan was and I said we wanted to stay here and pay. He asked for $40 and asked debit , credit or cash? I said debit and he said cash only. He took $40 and walked off not giving us any instructions, expectation or receipt for the $40. We went back to sleep. We woke up and messaged camp host 11:50 am for receipt $40 and to touch base. There were bathrooms there that had keypads on them we were not provided access to, and to inform him of his mis information of our presence and behavior there. The surrounding neighbors when asked had not been bothered early morning when we arrived. Camp host no response. Immediately after messaging the camp host, the camp host text an RV camper named "Bill" who was a couple sites down. They informed "Bill" to tell us that we needed to leave because the site we were in had been rented. "Bill " had text messages for the host stating we're trespassing and we needed leave. Still don't understand why we're charged $40 and then asked to leave upon only being there a couple hours. It was awkward and unbelievably un welcoming experience, I would have paid $40 not to have that experience. Horrible.
