The problems I had with this company…read morewere only caused from a guy by the name of Mike Davis, the other employees helping him were great. Below is my experience with them on July 15 2022. READ THIS BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! I called D&G needing a large piece of equipment taken from a semi truck and put into my shop. I spoke with Mike Davis 3 weeks before delivery and he quoted me $2000 or less for moving the equipment. One week before delivery I gave them a delivery day of when we needed them to be at my shop and ready to unload. The morning of the delivery Mike came to my shop to do a quick (5min) sight inspection ($100 charge?) We had a delivery time of 1:00. Our driver showed up at 12:00 so I let Mike know he was here early and didn't mind waiting until 1. Mike said his crew would be there to unload in about 1hr. At 2:00 I called Mike to see where they were at. He responded that they were "too hot" to work and if I wanted them to unload at our scheduled time it would be $125/hr/employee on top of the normal rate. My truck driver ended up waiting 21 hours for them in total. The trucking company typically charges $100/hr for driver waiting. The next morning they unloaded my equipment. I tried explaining to Mike that the trucking company was going to charge me close to $2000 because they didn't show up at our scheduled time, to which Mike replied "THATS YOUR PROBLEM! I AINT PAYING FOR THAT!" Just shows you how much this guy cares about his customers. No solution offered, just cares about himself. They left nails from the shipping container in the street and all of their equipment left huge oil stains in our street. It could have been a good experience but Mike did his best to make sure that didn't happen.

The skid steer would randomly set the parking brake which only affects one track causing the machine to turn unexpectedly. This caused me to nearly hit my son with the forks we were using which would have likely broken his leg. We had to fight with the machine several times to get the parking brake to release. Altogether an extremely unsafe setup. When I returned the machine I informed them of the issue and that it seemed to happen after hard use. They called me an hour later to say that they ran it around the yard a bit and couldn't reproduce the issue so it didn't happen and the machine was fine. I was also told that they had never had a problem with those machines before, but when I mentioned it to a coworker he said they had returned one for the exact same problem. Unsafe equipment, not believing customer complaints, charging extra for every attachment (Caterpillar rents a similar unit cheaper, with a trailer that has ALL the attachments, but it was broken down). I walked over and asked how much it would be to trim a couple of small branches off my Maple tree. The neighbor's spruce tree fell past it during one of the wind storms this summer and took off some of branches on the other side leaving it lopsided. Justin told me they generally don't take jobs under $200.00. So maybe around $100.00? He got his pole saw and said he would come take a look. By the time I got my checkbook he was done, and the tree looks much better. He met me at my gate and let me know there would be no charge. What he didn't know was that Dale and Jeanie Beavers are the people that helped get the spruce tree that fell off my driveway and car port this summer. The first 2 times I used their services were for broken trees that followed spring snowstorms…read more There were downed trees all over Missoula but I was pleasantly surprised that they were here 1 day after I called. They did excellent work both times so when I needed non-emergency tree care, I have called them three more times. I am impressed by their knowledge of tree health and their attitude toward the trees themselves. Dale and the other workers are friendly, polite and hardworking. They always haul away all the cuttings and leave the worksite neat. I have complete confidence in them. Competent tree service is expensive but I think it is worth it to get such reliable service.

rented a tiller at 2:30 pm on saturday. the guy at the counter wasn't happy because he had closed…read morehis computer already even though they are suppose to be open until 3:00 pm. he didn't show me how to start it so i wasted 1/2 my time trying to get it to run. returned it today and they didn't give me a receipt until i called them at 10:42 am to ask when they were going to get it to me. rude customer service, over priced junk equipment. won't try to do business with them again. i would give zero stars if it were possible.
