    If we could give our experience with this agent 0 stars, we would. We aren't people who typically…read morewrite reviews, but this experience was so bad, we felt we needed to make others aware. We have well over 50 saved emails and more than 10 phone-hours with this agent and the State Farm corporate office that clearly show a pattern of mismanagement of funds, policies, claims and premiums by this agent. We've been policy holders with State Farm for almost 25 years and never had a single issue with the company until this agent took over this branch office.The incredible amount time spent trying to deal with our insurance policies shows an obvious pattern of neglect on our agent's part. There were endless empty guarantees. Our requests for documentation or proof of submitted forms and paperwork would never be provided but instead just brushed off with more promises. Because of this agent's poor handling of our multiple policies, we overpaid on premiums and then would be repeatedly assured we'd be be getting credits or refunds to compensate for the overpayments. We never saw a dime of that money back. The agent lacked follow up and follow through. He was notorious for being "really busy" or 'in the car" and would promise a phone call or email reply within "5 minutes". Those return calls wouldn't happen. He would claim that paperwork was "in underwriting" and when we'd follow up with the corporate office, we'd find our that he had never actually submitted any of it. The service was so bad, that even when we tried to cancel all our policies and leave the company, it still took hours of phone calls with the corporate office to get it done because this agent wouldn't submitted our cancellation notifications. What's even more ridiculous is that he was the sole person with the authority to canceling our policies and authorize the the return of our unused premiums. We couldn't even get him to let us go! We highly recommend working with a different State Farm office.

I…read morewas with the same agency that changed hands many times in the 29 years I had the same State Farm policy until Jake took over within the last couple of years. After my first accident ever, getting a hold of someone to help me with State Farm was like pulling teeth. I felt there was some feet dragging with the agency and with State Farm that delayed payment for my claim nearly two months. In a sunsequent incedent staff repeatedly gave me misleading or incorrect information, leading to a great deal of grief and anger and my cancellation of a 29-year-old business relationship because of it. Another thing that bothered me about the agency (and State Farm in general) is that I don't think either has ever returned a message for a phone call. You just have to keep trying. I don't place it all on Jake or his staff but I'm very unhappy that I'm not with the former agency that has my policy. Never, ever any problems until now. Now I have no policy and starting over from scratch after 29 years. Not very happy about it. I hope starting over with a new agency and a real insurance company that cares an inkling for their custtomers will turn out OK.

    When I initially filed a small claim, I was provided with incorrect information on processing it…read moreand it was not followed up on by the claims adjuster. When I called claims to follow up on the status, I was provided with totally different issue and procedures than provided during the initial phone contacts. As my assigned claim adjuster was not available, I was referred to other adjusters (who were unable to locate any information on my claim in their system and were unable to help me). Both adjusters who were unable to assist me with my claim, put me on hold for 10 minutes and both disconnected my call (didn't even call me back). I spoke with a claims supervisor, M. McCready who still was not able to assist me and just wanted to refer me back to the claim adjuster who was clueless on how to handle my claim. All this frustration after they cranked up my rates after only using their roadside assistance. Thinking of going back to Allstate.

The…read moreissues included were getting a new debit card and they messed up on their end so we were behind in payment and had to pay extra every month it was inconvenient but worked out in the end. That was a couple of years ago. Since then they have found us immaculate savings on car insurance! They have been very good to us over the years and I feel like we've created a friendship. I enjoy speaking with Charmaine. We get extra bonuses for being with them so long. It's very beneficial. They are lovely to their clients and help with whatever is needed. I would recommend them to anyone absolutely!
