They did not inform us of a process, what the claim would entail, just tried to get us off the phone as soon as possible. He did not help at all and was a jerk while speaking with him on the phone. I actually was really disappointed when I hung up. I will be cancelling the insurance and transferring elsewhere.

In returning to the United States, we sought to renew an auto policy, add a new auto policy, and learn about the business endorsement on a personal auto policy. Unfortunately, Brandon Mclain, our apparent contact point at Kevin Bohlig's State Farm agency: 1/ became particularly vague and impatient on the phone call when we sought clarity regarding the usage requirements of a business endorsement, 2/ sent quotes for the two auto policies after the phone call, with no additional numbers or information regarding the business endorsement option that we'd continually requested to consider. We emailed a response restating the four questions we'd attempted to cover over the phone - numerically listed to ensure that none would be overlooked. Even then, Brandon managed to directly ignore half of our questions while asking exactly one question as his response to the other two questions, offering no additional information or clarity whatsoever, and 3/ has not responded in the five days since receiving our response to that one question. We've now lost half of the 10 days of leeway to register a car purchase in the state of Minnesota without penalty in waiting on Brandon. I thank this experience for serving as the catalyst that led to our consideration of and decision to now shop for a new State Farm agency. State Farm has won our trust given the company's treatment of two incidents last year - one car caught on fire as we were driving, for instance. Unfortunately, this State Farm agency has lost our trust in its professionalism, so it's time for us to start a new long-term relationship with another State Farm agency that offers us the communication, clarity, and respect of its clients' time and needs that we expected to find at Kevin Bohlig's State Farm agency. Janice Volk, however, is an absolute gem. I wish her private office came with a window - her cheery energy deserves to shine in a brighter environment.

My boyfriend spoke with someone on the phone when we signed up and they confirmed that we would be getting "something in the mail" and that we were good to go. After a week, we called because nothing had come. We were told we would get a call back so they could "look into it". No call back. A day later, my boyfriend called them again. They claimed they had no record of an auto policy for us. It was annoying, but we still needed insurance obviously. The lady told us to sign up again online. It wasn't working, so we called back. The guy condescendingly said, "Um, I don't know why you're trying to do it online. . ." Okay? So my boyfriend tried to make an appointment to come in and the guy said he was too busy that day, but he would call him back later. No call. Today my boyfriend went in as soon as they opened to try and just get something done. The guy again told him he had no time for him. My boyfriend informed him that we would be taking our business elsewhere if he couldn't at least set him up with an appointment later in the day, and the guy replied, "State Farm is downstairs." HORRIBLE customer service. If you want an insurance company that cares about its customers, do NOT go here.

Or "insurance broker is for old folks only", but boy was I wrong! JC is very professional and quick to respond to inquiries. I was in my final stage of purchasing a home and my previous insurance agent (one I quoted online by myself) decided to disappear off the face of the earth all of a sudden. I gave JC a call at 3pm and he was able to help me find better coverage for approximately $600 less than my previous quote. He was able to finalize and let my lender know right away just before close of business and get the binder to the lender the next day! I'm very impressed with JC's work ethics and diligence.
