Do NOT get pierced here. I paid $100 for a nose piercing and they completely messed it up. Both sides are uneven as hell not even close to straight. It's clear they don't know what they're doing. And literally just look at the reviews. It shows how unprofessional they are. The owner's childish replies to people are embarrassing. Instead of owning up to mistakes, they act defensive and rude. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how they run their shop. I included that in both of my reports, because if you're out here piercing people's faces, you should act like a professional not a child. You should be ashamed of how you treat customers and the work you put out. I've already reported them to the state board. Nobody should spend their money here or end up stuck with crooked piercings like I did. Go literally anywhere else. read more

1/30/26 - Called about information for a walk in to get my septum and a pair of lobe piercings done. They were very informative about hours and pricing. Most importantly they were able to do the piercings I wanted the same day unlike the other shops I called. When I arrived, the store was empty, very clean and quaint. Just the two workers opening the store for the day. I filled out the consent form and about 10 minutes later I was called to the back by Melissa who measured my existing piercings to mark them on my other ear. Very happy with her attention to detail. Everything seemed to be sanitized properly as well, at least to my untrained eyes. She went ahead with the lobe piercings after letting me see the spots she marked using a handheld mirror and they turned out great. I had the same experience with the septum as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here at Mint Condition and Melissa's work, and will always consider this place first when I'm ready to get my next piercings! read more

This was my first time in a tattoo shop but we came here to pierce my 5 year old's ears. We brought her birth certificate and cash and the whole process took about 30 minutes. The actual piercings took 2 minutes but there were 2 people before us also getting piercings. Sarah was quick, precise and sanitary. She used a little measuring tool to make sure the holes were evenly spaced. I appreciated that because my own ear piercings (from 35 years ago) are so uneven. We recieved a can of "after care spray" and instructions on how to clean them. The pierced area was red and bloody the first day but they looked fine about 24 hours later. I was a little surprised by how expensive the piercing was ($50 per ear) but I would definitely come back here rather than get my ears pierced with a gun at the mall. read more

I will be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend this location based on how I was treated. UPDATE: The reason I left was not because of me not able to change my daughters diaper. This is the response message I sent to Sarah: Thank you for your message. I want to be very clear my review was never about what you said, but how you said it. I had no issue with not being able to change my daughter's diaper there the problem was the way you responded, which came across with unnecessary attitude instead of professionalism. And it wasn't just that one moment. When I asked if I could breastfeed my baby during the piercing knowing that not every shop may allow it but also knowing it's one of the best ways to keep babies calm the response again was not polite or understanding. A simple, respectful "no" would have been fine. Instead, the tone you used made me feel uncomfortable and dismissed. I tried to brush off the first incident, but by the second, it was enough for me to decide I did not feel comfortable trusting you to pierce my daughter's ears. This was especially frustrating because I drove from Victorville to Upland so my sister could be part of the experience, and that was completely ruined. I will not be deleting my review because it accurately reflects what I experienced. I did my research, I was willing to pay for upgraded jewelry, and I was looking forward to a good experience. I came in with my sister a couple of months ago to get a belly piercing. My sister was pierced first by a blonde employee who was rude from the start and did not have a welcoming or comforting attitude. When it was my turn, the same employee asked me to lift my shirt and, without any explanation, told me very bluntly, "You don't have the right anatomy." She did not properly examine the area and seemed to base her opinion on a quick second look. She also did not ask me to sit down to examine it more, explain why, or offer any alternative options. I felt very uncomfortable and decided not to get the piercing there. Later that week, I went to a different piercing shop in Covina, where the piercer was professional, kind, and thorough. She took multiple steps to ensure I had the correct anatomy and explained everything clearly. She confirmed there was no reason the piercing would reject. It has now been five months, and the piercing has healed perfectly. As with my sister her piercing is taking a bit longer to heal and the jewelry is very long. Succumbed to our defeat, We came to the outback for dinner and seen this place and I thought you know what, Hail Mary, they close later and I don't think I'm asking for much, just some hearts and dots on my hand. The girl receptionist was so kind and energetic, she asked an artist who was working and they said they couldn't cuz they had about 45-1 hour to go. She went and asked another artist, I over heard "hey, are you able to do this since your not doing anything, it's hand tattoo" the artist then chuckled at the idea. I over heard this laugh, and it totally turned me off. I'm a tattoo collector with a full sleeve and many others, I thought I was just going in for some fun. But the industry precedes itself. Sarah has done all of my cartilage piercings and I couldn't recommend her more to pierce you! She is so patient and informative, looks at your anatomy to make sure she can pierce you correctly and makes you super comfortable in the piercing chair. All of my cartilage piercings have healed amazingly-- 30% of that is me putting in work to heal, but 70% of the healing is making sure you're being pierced right, by the right body piercer.
