First experience with this company was great, the second one SUCKED! Needed my riding mower repaired again, so called several times and left messages with no return phone calls. Finally called and spoke with Anthony (owner) on Tuesday 11/19/20 and arranged for him to pick my mower up which he said would be late Wednesday afternoon (11/20/19). Wednesday came and went an he never showed up. Call first thing Thursday morning to find out why he never showed up and had to leave a message and he never called me back. I don't understand how a business can treat customers that way and stay in business. It's like they just don't give a damn any more if they earn your business or not even though the the website says he provides the highest level of customer service. I call BS on that because I received the lowest level of customer service, NONE! I would never recommend this business to any one. UPDATE: 12/05/2019 Got my repaired mower back today. The man that repaired it says the reason it failed was Minton's Small Engine put the wrong starter on it. They used a starter with a nylon gear to engage a fly wheel with a steel ring set. The starter they put on my mower was for a fly wheel with an aluminum ring set. This caused the nylon gear on the starter to fuse into the fly wheel causing the starter bind up, overheat and fail. He said he was surprised it lasted as long as it did because it usually only takes 2-3 times of starting a mower with the wrong starter gear on it before it fails. SMFH!! $230 waisted and I had to pay to fix Minton's mistake. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! read more
