I ended up sending all my stuff over before I got there and we were in an out in less than 30 min. The facility was CLEAN and staff was very nice. Kudos to Dr. Bangor for being so kind to my son. In addition to three tests (Flu, Covid, and Strep), which all came out negative, she checked my lungs, my lymph nodes, etc. etc. She took the time to explain (and print out) what things I had been doing that I should continue, what I should change (and why). She also wrote out a scrip for an anti-biotic, for me to use just in case the new treatments do not have any effect after two more days. She even sent a scrip to my regular pharmacy for some things that are available over the counter, in case that would help me to get them with prescription coverage. So, overall: a great experience while I was feeling pretty crummy. She was professional and empathic. Much more than at urgent care locations, such as Carbon Health. My new go to plan will be to avoid "urgent care" places and go to CVS minute clinics instead.

I say this to say, I needed a particular vaccination and had a very hard time receiving it. My primary care did carry it, and did not provide outside help to me at all. I went to Walgreens and my insurance denied the vaccination because it was from a pharmacy(at this point I'm furious) I proceeded to call the insurance and asked for an override(DENIED) Lastly I got on Dr. Google, and WALAH like magic I found City Life!!!! I presented with GI issues, and despite being prescribed Venlafaxine, he never once alerted me to the risk of Seratonin Syndrome from taking Zofran and Venlafaxine. He acted with extreme arrogance when he told me it was in my paperwork to take home, when a nurse confirmed it was not in my paperwork. I have been going to Patient First for over a decade, and this is the first time I've encountered a clinician who is so incredibly arrogant and negligent. It is a shame, because the staff are otherwise okay. Brian Richard Hornak should be reeducated on alerting patients to drug interactions. His ego is walking away from the situation instead of rectifying it is not in line with Patient First's values.

The doctor told me it was bruised/minor sprained and that I should be back to running within a week. I rested for TWO weeks and the swelling barely went down. I still had a limp in my walk and I could barely do a light jog around my neighborhood as a D1 lacrosse athlete. Three weeks post going to patient first, I went to Rothman and the doctor said I had a grade 2 sprain with 2 partially torn ligaments in my ankle after resting for a total of THREE weeks, which was supposed to be "one". Although the staff is welcoming and friendly I'd suggest seeing a specialized doctor if you have the ability to.
