I went to this urgent care on Sunday and paid $90 for the visit, $6 for a strep test, and $16 for…read morethe prescription. I came in with chest pain, severe throat pain, and a persistent cough. The provider said my throat "looked like tonsillitis with exudate," but admitted she wasn't sure what I had -- mentioning it could be mono, strep, or tonsillitis. My strep test was negative, yet I was still prescribed amoxicillin based only on what it "looked like." The visit lasted about 10 minutes, and I was told to come back if symptoms worsened. After 4 days on amoxicillin, my symptoms got worse, not better. I developed a severe cough keeping me up at night, my voice became hoarse again, and my throat and chest pain increased. I returned on Thursday and explained everything, including that I am cash pay and had just been there days earlier. I was told I still had to pay $50 plus more for prescriptions. The second provider was rude and dismissive, cut me off while I was explaining my symptoms, and defended the first prescription instead of listening. She admitted she also didn't know what I had, saying it "could be anything" and made an inappropriate political comment about viruses, verbatim stating "well trump put all these viruses out there so I don't know what you have", which was completely unprofessional. No one addressed my throat pain, chest pain, hoarseness, nausea, or worsening cough in a meaningful way. The visit again felt rushed (under 10 minutes). When I received my discharge paperwork, my diagnosis was listed as "acute cough and nasal congestion", which is not why I came in. None of my main symptoms were documented. I already have a weakened immune system, and being given medications based on guesses rather than proper evaluation is unacceptable. Between the cost, lack of clear diagnosis, dismissive care, and poor documentation, this was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone.

The forms were completed on your phone via text link the staff send you. Easy to complete. My husband received great care and treatment from Gregory PA and Dr. Chopra. Gregory was super supportive with completing his verbal and physical exams. He took the time to obtain the medical history and understanding what events led up to the back pain. He helped him get up from the exam table and it felt very caring especially. Dr. Chopra also provided an exam and reviewed his treatment plan with us. He recommended a follow up appointment. This review is for MyDrNow's patient relations and not the NP I had my appointment with. I am a…read moremilitary spouse who was assigned this practice as my PCM through TriCare. When I suffered a back injury, the practice got me in same day for a virtual appointment and I was grateful for what I thought would be a quick authorization to get me into PT. What's transpired over the last month has been anything but and I still have not received a referral to access the care I need. After a week of no movement , I was told my authorization could still take 14 days which seemed excessive. It continued to nose dive...it took three calls for them to successfully receive a digital copy of my insurance card which I already provided before my appointment. One very helpful rep confirmed mistakes on their end and told me they'd call to confirm once my authorization was put on the TriCare portal. When that didn't happen and I called asking to resolve my issue before I hung up the phone, the woman said she'd start a complaint process where a manager would call me back in 24 hours. There was no one I could speak to that day. No one ever calls back. Meanwhile, I've been in pain, DIYing PT, unable to move through my daily life comfortably. The only communication I have received from MyDrNow is letting me know my bill is ready to be paid. I have now started a new process with my insurance who assigned me a new PCM at a different practice and a new appointment to get authorization. Sadly, that process will probably get me into PT before MyDocNow does. Brutal.

I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

The medical staff is caring and amazing, they have a lab in office. The biggest thing is they respect your time. You don't wait in the waiting room long your provider comes to get you not a med tech and you can pick your apt time 15 min 30 etc. There is an annual membership fee but you get a discount if you have Amazon Prime. My dad is 78 years old and has had many health issues and they've taken care of him wonderfully and my 24yo son is also a patient there. We are very happy with their care for us all.
