I recommend this urgent care. Online scheduling was easy prompt and when you got there, there wasn't 10 people waiting in line. I was in to see the Doc in 10 minutes. We talked about the situation for good five minutes. He gave me his opinion, but couldn't be sure unless I had a sonogram. We LOVE this place. Of course, everyone hates going to the urgent care but every experience we have had here has been amazing. Usually less than 15 minute wait, then typically only a 10 minute wait when we get to the back to see the doctor as well. Do not go here if you value your sanity or your time. The facility is clean and the providers are top notch. But the billing is the most ridiculous billing department I've ever encountered. I have been receiving texts saying I owe a balance and to contact the urgent care office with any questions. When I call the office, they tell me they don't handle billing and they give me a number to call. That number says they do not have access to the account (it was from 16 months ago and I've only been billed in the last 3) bc it is with their "old billing company." The billing dept says they cannot transfer me or give me a phone number. They say I have to speak to the local Chandler office. I cannot get anyone there to answer, but every time I leave a message I get a return call with the same number that says they cannot help me. I have tried emailing, begging for a bill or anything to submit to insurance bc they never submitted it for some reason. [We went a few times after that and they submitted those visits and were paid promptly. My insurance has not changed in 10 years, so I have no idea why this claim was never submitted and the ones after it were.] I cannot get anyone to send me an actual bill and yet the texts keep coming that I need to pay and to call the office with any questions. Obviously that's not accurate. It's ridiculous at this point, but I am not a deadbeat. I'm just asking them to send be an actual bill or to submit it to my insurance. But it's like I'm speaking into the void. read more

$268.00 for an office visit if you don't have insurance. I just feel that is over the top expensive. Even if you do a tele-med call, that will be billed as a office visit. The service itself I liked. I liked everything until I got billed. I expected the regular $25 copay. IMO this is just an9ther establishment price gauging the public. read more

I was feeling sick (sore throat, aches for 2 days) and tried to go to Banner UC on Gilbert: closed! Then tried Honor UC on Arizona: Closed! No staff. So I found AlphaMeD on Google and I'm so glad I did! It's brand new and the service was great! I was able to get the tests I needed to rule out strep, flu, covid. The staff was very friendly and professional. This is the first time I've had to seek out urgent care since moving here from MN 1.5 years ago, but this will be my first choice always now! They even called me the next day to see how I was feeling and called an inhaler into my pharmacy. EDITED 1/20/2023 - I have received MULTIPLE texts messages and bills now from this place (and got ANOTHER bill in the mail today!!) so I am editing my review from a 5 to a 1 because of their shoddy billing practices!! I paid my copay ($90!!) at the office when I was there. I was then charged an additional $41.12 and have proceeded to be HOUNDED by this place for this payment, even though I paid it already months ago!! Keep in mind now my visit ended up costing me around $130+!! If they were not in my insurance network I should have been told UP FRONT. It's simply harassment at this point!!! BEWARE OF THEIR CRAPPY BILLING!! I have no doubt that $90 was an overpayment as well. The most I am supposed to pay for UC/specialty is $55. So AlphaMeD people that read this??? I want a refund!! This place has restored my faith in Urgent Care centers! I've honestly NEVER had a good experience at an urgent care and try to avoid them at all costs. However today I really needed to be seen due to an injury so I decided to give this place a try. They are WONDERFUL! Their scheduling system was great and I got in right when they said I would. All the staff here, and especially Kayla Shelley and her assistant Pauline are wonderful, professional, thorough and caring. In addition to listening and not feeling rushed, Kayla is so efficient and personable that my husband and I have chosen her as our primary care. Chandler Alphamed office is very nicely appointed, and looks like a high end doctor office, not an urgent care. When I had an urgent care situation, I was able to make an appointment online within 2 hours, and was in and out within 45 minutes time. My prescription was called over immediately and I was able to pick it up on the way home, which I really appreciate since I did not feel good. When my test results came back, I was promptly called and had medicine switched to something more suitable for the infection I had. read more

Took my 9 year old here and it was such a nice, clean office. Was able to make a same day appt which was very convenient. Sheila took all of my daughters vitals and I had to find out her name because she was that sweet! She was so fun, kind and patient with her. The doctor that came in was great too and very thorough . Took two days, two trips to the office and 5 phone calls for a prescription for albuterol to be submitted correctly to the pharmacy. Not sure how many times the pharmacy had to call and fax them too. It was the providers mistake, and they kept blaming the pharmacy. I could not get them to advocate for me to get the issue corrected and had to do the legwork myself, with pneumonia. Its a shame because this is a very nice location with a friendly staff, but the provider-I believe his name was Matt- proved I cannot trust them with my family's health. I will not return and do not recommend you take your family there either. Our pharmacist agrees. read more

OK. I can not even say enough good things about this Urgent Care. I found them on yelp (thank god for Yelp!), and was able to make a same day appointment on a Saturday. Went in because I had this lingering cough from COVID 7 weeks ago, and Matt was great. Tested me for COVID and Strep (both came back negative), and did an x-ray to check my ribs and lungs. I had been coughing so much it appears I pulled a muscle in between my ribs. He diagnosed me with bronchitis, and prescribed steroids and an inhaler (as needed). Within a day of taking the prednisone I'm barely coughing. Such a great experience. Wish I had gone sooner! Everyone I encountered at this Urgent Care was super nice and friendly. I set up the appointment and came back and waited two hours before I even got to the back room. I NEVER write reviews but I just had to share how amazing this Urgent Care is. I never thought I'd be saying that about an urgent care since they can all be pretty similar (long waits, rude staff, etc) But WOW. So my partner and I are from Oregon and he had been throwing up for over 24 hours. We were apprehensive about going to urgent care because we had a flight to catch. But as soon as we walked in they were getting us in a room!! The staff was efficient but super friendly! Explained every step of the process. When he was set up with an IV he got a bit chilly and they didn't have any blankets in the facility. The PA went out to her CAR AND BROUGHT A BLANKET INSIDE FOR HIM! Do not go here! According to my United Health Care Insurance, this is not an Urgent Care! They are not "in network and " and are not "out of network". They over billed me for a visit, and refuse to reimburse me for the over charge. My insurance representative said they are billing as a Dr. Stacey Root. Even if that was legal, and I'm not sure it is, they still over charged me, and will not reimburse. I pay $75.00 for urgent care, and $80.00 for a Dr. visit...They charged me $90.00. read more

I will definitely be recommending this Urgent Care to anyone in need of one. We live 30 min from it but I will still make the drive just because of how amazing they are. From the front desk, to the MA's and Providers. To the easy appointment scheduling online, to the short wait time, plus the patient, informative and caring staff. I can say I've never encountered this kind of genuine care from beginning to end in other urgent cares. My husband and I have been sick for a week and went in twice to been seen here by both providers, we both went home the same day to say the same thing on how we've never been to an urgent care like AlphaMed. Unfortunately, it's sad to say how surprised we where about the type of care we experienced here since we've never encountered it anywhere else. Wish there was an option for zero stars. Do not trust Matt Overlin. He lied to my face about medical tests then when called out for it he became belligerent and rude. Wrong diagnosis on shoulder injury. (Proven by a visit with an actual shoulder specialist today) randomly writes resolved on injuries he hasn't looked at or asked about then writes inaccuracies in reports to cover his incompetence. Oh, and if you file a complaint with Alpha Med they don't even bother to respond. Very poorly run company. Look elsewhere if you are injured. read more
