Had to wait over an hour for a scheduled appointment. While practitioners were nice, they clearly need a better scheduling system

I waited around 1 hour in the waiting room before being brought back, around 410pm. I waited in the back for about an hour before being seen by a provider, around 510pm. The motion sensor lights in the room literally turned off like 3 times because I laid there waiting for so long. I was seen by the provider for less than 10 minutes total. I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere afterwards, but if I did have plans after my appointment they would've been severely delayed. The front desk staff, nursing/ medical assisting staff and the PA seemed professional and friendly. Though the extended wait times with uncertainty of when I'd be seen rubbed me the wrong way. There wasn't a clear estimate given about the wait time, but I was told there were maybe 3 people ahead of me. I also overheard through the door something about how I was supposed to be seen before someone else, but "Oh well". That was the tipping point. Way too blasé, like it happens all the time, I guess? A suggestion is putting in a better system to avoid seeing patients out of order and causing others to wait longer unnecessarily? There weren't clear instructions given about what to do if symptoms persisted even after medication or other treatment options provided. Or possible explanations about why I had this problem. Just "Oh so this is what's happening, and here's some medication I can write for you. Okay, thanks. Bye."

The man at the front desk is a joy and a very helpful person. That said though, I do agree with other reviews that mention the wait time. I too had a been on a list for 4pm and still wasn't seen for an hour. Seems to me the only thing missing at this place is...urgency.

First statement ever received from them, no invoice received. It didn't credit the insurance payments that were sent. It miscredited my out of pocket payment as an insurance payment. I used EOB and was proactive to pay. When talking to the rep I was told the hospital billing isn't their issue. Then why is on the statement you trying collect money for. The bill is paid in full between insurance payouts of over 4000 and my copays and they still want money. Based on the other reviews about immediate collections I am awaiting to see if they get it fixed. I was told to call back in two weeks, after the due date. Rep had a piss poor attitude that sours the experience of an other words good surgery and surgeon. EDIT: for reply from owner. I provided all the details to the rep including EOB benefits paid and dates paid. If you want the details talk to your rep as I have already given it.EDIT: I had the insurance company contact the "billing" department and they said the invoice was sent to the billing dept for review. The insurance company states I have no liability because the office forgot to send in pre-authorization. Their loss not mine, " According to the providers contract advanced notification was required for the service but was not received. Therefore, the applicable administrative reimbursement reduction was applied and deducted from the provider payment. According to the providers contract the patient may not be billed for the amount of the administrative reimbursement reduction," So to reiterate, they screwed up and then are trying to screw me. 1-star now for leaving the insurance company rep on hold and not resolving it when contacted by the insurance company directly telling them they were breaking their contract." STAY AWAY if you can. EDIT: 3 calls- no resolution. supervisor will not contact me. 3 months no refund still, 3 MRI's, 2 CT Scans and now 4 doctor visits went to other places because of this money they will not give back. Telling me to go to a website to leave feedback when I am directly calling is disingenuous to the people that read reviews as there is no resolution but said to try and make your sh!tty company look better. give me back my d@mn money.

I visited this past Monday to see an ophthalmologist about a chalazion on my eye…read more Long story short, I felt seen and heard by the ophthalmologist after receiving poor care from a prior ophthalmologist and having a bump on my eye for the better part of this year. The doctor here immediately launched a plan to help me rid my face of the chalazion. First pass was an injection to the chalazion which she administered the same day. I have a follow up visit in 2 weeks at which time, the doctor will assess my progress and determine next steps. Given how quickly and assertively she tended to my issue, I know I can trust her with my care. Glad I found this place (but wish I'd gone here with my original issue. Sigh).

Highly, highly, highly recommend! Best urgent care experience ever! This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!

On the morning of the appointment, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The wait to be seen was reasonable, and wasn't very long at all. Both the nurse as well as the doctor were fantastic. The doctor didn't rush, and instead took an appropriate amount of time to discuss and perform an exam. I'd definitely visit this practice again. It was such a better experience than other urgent care providers I've had to use in the area. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained.

I was the only person checking in. Yet I was yelled at for asking simple but necessary questions about copays/insurance. It was a bad start. I was in Baltimore for a work conference when I tested positive for COVID-19, for the first time. Since I have an underlying condition, was concerned, and wasn't going to be able to get back to CA to see my primary care doctor in a timely manner, I came here for help. Instead of getting help, I was told they couldn't prescribe me any medication (not paxlovid, and not even prednisone for my cough/asthma) for me because they "didn't know enough about my medical history." Wtf?? Since when does an URGENT care need someone's entire medical history to give them help? This was even after they confirmed that my asthma peak flow reading was low compared to what it should be. They said I wouldn't be a candidate for the ER either- so where was I supposed to go?? They gave me a nebulizer treatment, which didn't do much, and told me to take mucinex, Pepcid, and follow up with my primary care doctor. I wasted so much time for literally nothing. Once I got home to CA, my primary care immediately put me on the medications I asked for and needed. DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE.
