Crazy thing is the waiting room was completely empty when I arrived. I'm assuming that patients must have been in all the rooms. This is just crazy. I've been waiting so long I might as well just went to the emergency room. I'm pretty hot, pissed and in pain. Wonder what time I'll actually be seen. I'll finish this review after the doctor comes in. Well doctor finally came in at 1235pm and wants to get an X-ray. So let's see how long it will be before that is taken. It's a terrible time to have any illness or injury, so it was hard for me to get an appointment anywhere. But I was able to schedule with this particular MinuteClinic fairly soon. They sent constant text and email reminders of my appointment, as if I'd forgotten. It was pretty annoying. I checked it days before my appointment, so when I finally arrived, it was easy to do the in-person self-service check in, where I swiped my card for payment. I was quickly called back, which was refreshing. Most places make you wait. The doctor was attentive and she did a thorough exam on my foot. Unfortunately, I found out they don't have x-ray services and the doctor was unable to tell me anything concrete. So, I more or less wasted $140 on a consult that provided me with no more information than I already had. Pros: Easy check in and good customer service. Cons: No x-ray services. I had to go to another urgent care facility to get the answers I needed but for other illness, I would return to this MinuteClinic.

This time the wait was quick (I was in & out in a little over an hour) and I appreciate the tracker where I could see where I was in the queue of patients waiting. Everybody I dealt with from the individual who registered me to the nurse who took my height, weight and blood pressure, to the doctor who saw me, to the ones who took my x-rays, to the woman who administered my shot, everybody was very professional! I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this patient first again.

I made a same day weekday appointment for 3pm. Checked in a little late (around 10 mins after…read moreappointment time, 310pm). I had to pay for services right when I checked in. I waited around 1 hour in the waiting room before being brought back, around 410pm. I waited in the back for about an hour before being seen by a provider, around 510pm. The motion sensor lights in the room literally turned off like 3 times because I laid there waiting for so long. I was seen by the provider for less than 10 minutes total. I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere afterwards, but if I did have plans after my appointment they would've been severely delayed. The front desk staff, nursing/ medical assisting staff and the PA seemed professional and friendly. Though the extended wait times with uncertainty of when I'd be seen rubbed me the wrong way. There wasn't a clear estimate given about the wait time, but I was told there were maybe 3 people ahead of me. I also overheard through the door something about how I was supposed to be seen before someone else, but "Oh well". That was the tipping point. Way too blasé, like it happens all the time, I guess? A suggestion is putting in a better system to avoid seeing patients out of order and causing others to wait longer unnecessarily? There weren't clear instructions given about what to do if symptoms persisted even after medication or other treatment options provided. Or possible explanations about why I had this problem. Just "Oh so this is what's happening, and here's some medication I can write for you. Okay, thanks. Bye."

Before going in, I had already taken a home flu test that came back positive. I also work in a hospital around many people with flu and COVID, so I knew there was a strong possibility I was sick with the flu. During my visit, the PA assessed me and stated that I "just had a cold." However, the next day I woke up feeling significantly worse, with body aches and a low-grade fever. I decided to go to a different urgent care for a second opinion, where I was tested again and confirmed positive for Flu B. Unfortunately, I can't attach the report to this review because the site would not allow screenshots, but I was still within the treatment window to receive Tamiflu, which could have helped relieve my symptoms sooner. I'm sharing this as a warning to other patients: if you truly feel something is wrong, trust your instincts and consider getting a second opinion. Based on my experiences, I no longer feel confident in the care provided here.
