Yesterday was the worst I've ever been treated by an individual in the medical field!! Yesterday was my 2nd encounter with Morgan the nurse/ lady checking me in. 4 weeks ago I came in with my husband and we were 5 mins late. She told me I couldn't be seen because they had a people waiting behind me. I told her I was sorry and explained why I was 5 minutes late to which she said I'd have to reschedule or go to a different location the went in her room and shut the door. While talking my husband rescheduled me for 2 mins later so I knocked on the door and told her we rescheduled for the next appointment in 2 mins. She rolled her eyes and sighed followed by saying fine and shut the door. Then shortly after opened the door and said come in- and wasn't nice about it. I walked in and noticed another lyady who I found out was training. Morgan asked for my id and snatched it out of my hand then asked what was wrong me. I tried tell her my symptoms and she dismissed me telling me I probably was ok. I told her I wanted a Covid test, flu test and step to rule out the possibilities- she did the Covid test and refused the flu test because I didn't have fever so she said it wasn't that. Then when the Covid tests came back negative- she said as expected. As she continued she got more belittling and rude to the point I lost my patience for her and shut down not wanting to interact with her anymore and hoping to just go see the Next nurse/ dr.
Yesterday I went back in because while some of my symptoms had passed I still had lingering issues with a horrible cough, thick mucus, headaches and etc. Sadly Morgan was there to check me in. My daughter and I entered the room and she said so what's wrong? I told her I was in here 4 weeks ago and I feel like maybe I did have Covid or something because while the meds did helped some they didn't get rid of a lot. I know from past experience sometimes Covid test can error and it is not a bad thing - it happens. She took or snatched my id again which my daughter saw and proceeded to tell me the Covid test was correct. I tried telling her the lingering symptoms I have had for a month now and she said I should go to an urgent care. I told her I had seen that Kelly was here and wanted do see her. She asked if I knew Kelly personally and I told her no we just always felt a little better after seeing her. She said hold on - walked out and returned a bit later saying Kelly will see you now as she grinned ( which was odd). My daughter and I walked to Kelly's room where she told me to sit in the red chair then jerked off her masked and asked why I was being rude to her nurse! In shock I said I wasn't the one being rude she was and tried to explain what had happened to which she then put her mask back on and continued to speak to me in an aggressive manner and told me she didn't have time for this and would see me. She wrote down the last 2 meds I was given 4 wks ago and told me I should leave and she couldn't help me! She said their meds were not wrong - I told her I never said they were I said to Morgan they didn't take care of everything. Kelly then went to the door open it and said GO!!! My daughter and I got up walked out and then she aggressively shit the door behind us! My daughter even jumped and then asked why are these ladies so mean? I told her sometimes people have bad days and sometimes people are just not kind. They're not kind! I have never been treated like this by someone in the health care industry- dismissed, belittled, spoken down to, things snatched from my hand, and kicked out! It hateful, disgusting, disrespectful and unprofessional!
I did go to an urgent care afterwards to which they had to do 2 breathing treatments on me, did chest X-rays, gave me coughing meds to take while there, and ran a panel of test. They said I was on the cuffs of bronchitis and they could tell I definitely had something earlier and this was lingering. I was given several antibiotics and an inhaler. I'm glad I went to the urgent care because I had was treated ad a patient and human! My family and I will never return to this minute clinic or cvs - and I've told family and friends who are also not going to this location anymore. read more
