Minuteman Press Selden earned this review when they decided the 2 small jobs I sent in weren't worth their time. Shucks, I'll have to go elsewhere for all the wedding signage and various other printed materials I had planned to send them throughout this summer. Sent in a very simple job for 2 prints 1 week ago. Called in for a status today since client wanted to pick up tomorrow. Red flag 1: They don't monitor their "send files" inbox, so they didn't know about the job. Red flag 2: Told verbatim: "We're not going to stop the printers for just 2 pages". In short, the faulty management of their "Send Files" feature on their website is now my problem. read more

nasty man/owner. wanted to see sample of my product before i committed to full order. was willing to pay for sample. owner said no because he guaranteed his work. not good enough for me. i have had bad experiences with "no see until done." went somewhere else. ended up driving from Brookhaven the oceanside minuteman. THEY DID EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT WORK! would recommend that location, they also have a location in suffolk county. oceanside DOES show customers samples before completion! can i give selden minuteman press MINUS stars? apparently this review will not submit without a star rating. the one star is really a "0" or better yet a MINUS. they deserve it! The work is good but they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I gave them my order on Wednesday. They called me on Thursday for a down payment of 1/2 the cost of the order. I paid it. They called me on Friday 10:38 am to pick up the order. I did not get the call, or any calls, until 5:45pm (could be the mobile phone service's fault). They have no voicemail, no emergency number. My husband drove over to the shop to see if there was an emergency # He even went into the stores next to the shop to find an emergency # as we needed the product the next day (Saturday) According to my husband the Smoke Shop did not have my order despite the fact the woman said she left it there. He said there was an order there but under a different name. REGARDLESS, I went ahead a paid the full amount even though the product is dated and I can't use it. Wow! I'm really impressed with the whole experience with Minuteman Press in Selden. I needed some business envelopes printed and went online to get some prices. Thought I'd also check with this local business and their price was very competitive. When the job was complete they delivered them straight to my office. The quality was excellent! Any time I can support a local business I'm happy to do it. And they made it really easy. Great job Minuteman! read more
