38000$ for turf in a small back yard. Graded the yard toward house. Floods 6 inches of water almost into house every time it rains. Wanted 4k to fix their mistake. Tried to blame builder. It did not flood before their work.COM ignored complaint. Company did nit comply with responsibilty to correct. Offered to fix for half , then to fix . No trust at all they would fix correctly . Settled for payment of supplies for homeowner to fix themselves. Took 6 months to resolve. Overpriced for total mess.. Find someone else!!! read more

We recently bought our home, they came to our door, ignoring the no soliciting sign, but the salesman was nice so I scheduled an appointment. All we wanted was sod in our small DR Horton backyard. They quoted us a price of 18,000$. My husband laughed and said , no way. We ended up finding a place in Odessa to deliver us sod and we did it ourselves for about 900$. read more

Worst ever company to rely on or give your project to. Their representatives are chronic and iconic liars. From the marketers, to the project manager, to the installation crews... they are all liars. I will give them zero rating if there is any. No a reliable company to entrust your project to. Their major aim is to lure you into it and get the money. read more

They seem to do good quality work but their business practices are unethical. They quoted me $9,000 just for sod and $20,000 for TURF. The economy is not the best right now and for them to try and take advantage of people who dont know any better is evil. Someone needs to teach them that good business prices and practices will keep a customer around far longer than raping them on the first purchase. FYI i laid my own sod in the backyard last year. $750 for 1,500 sq ft including delivery and $50 for the tiller rental from home depot. Where do they come up with $9,000? The sod i purchased was also tiff tuff bermuda top of the line. Laying sod isn't ROCKET SCIENCE! Also you salesman that work for this company need to get some dignity. I don't care if this was the last job on earth, I wouldn't attach my name and reputation to a company that is taking advantage of unknowledgeable people. Remember KARMA is REAL! read more

Mio home did concrete, rock, and sod for our backyard and it looks great. Working with Asja was so easy, especially when it came to figuring out what we wanted done. I highly recommend Asja as she was with us the whole process. Our backyard had a little issue with the concrete as the concrete was poured and later that day it rained and damaged the corner of the concrete. We were not satisfied with the splatter look and it got fixed. Grass did look yellow when laid out but after watering for a few weeks now is really green and even. Would recommend Mio home to others. read more

BUYER BEWARE: Mio Home is NOT for you! This company has ruined my back fence and given me the runaround on fixing it for quite some time now. I originally called and let them know the project had warped my fence so badly rock was falling through onto the neighboring property. The receptionist put in an initial filing and I heard nothing back. I called again where she let me know no one had looked at it and resubmitted the issue. Someone came out and took pictures and nothing progressed. I had to call again. They let me know they would repair my fence and I paid an additional amount for a concrete retaining wall I had requested THE FIRST TIME. Fast forward to them saying it would be a set of dates and no one showed, had to call again. They showed up while I was gone on a work trip, DID NOT fix the fence and poured some concrete with no structure, weepholes or anything required for a retaining wall and left. I saw the poor work and called AGAIN! The same receptionist said they would not be fixing the fence because it was warped previously and that they had pictures. I requested the pictures be emailed to me twice and once in writing. I now have to pursue further action. Fortunately I also have pictures of before, during and after my project was completed showing the damage their work has caused. I would give zero stars if possible and I'm warning anyone I know NOT to use these people. read more

I will give an example; Monthly charges fluctuate, expect additional fees charges to your account in addition to monthly rent *unpredictable. The office procedures are unorganized. Our personal records are not collected or maintained efficiently. Office personnel do not understand the software/website that they use to collect personal documents that you may upload. Here are my suggestions, keep good records. Print all email communications and all messages from the resident portal. It could save you a headache, a lot of money and your credit.

A contract was signed with Fat Matt's Roofing in June of 2018 to replace our roof, including the…read moremetal siding on the eves and fascia, that had previously been damaged during a hail storm. As of this writing, 11/23/18, 5+ months later, the project is still not complete. There has been re-work .... vent caps that were due to be replaced were not, the old, beat up vent caps were left in place; the chimney flashing was not replaced, with the old chimney flashing being beat back into place and tarred over and incorrect drip caps were installed. When the drip caps were reworked (replaced), they still were not the same size as the original and were installed backwards in places, creating overlapping seams that were not 'water tight'. All of this sub-par work required additional re-work and caused delays in the completion of the project. The siding portion has been a disaster. Fat Matt's hired a sub-contactor for the siding who does not do good work. The wrong style, and color, of siding was installed, which did not come close to matching the rest of the house. The response when asked 'why' was "they don't make that style anymore". This would have been good to know during the 'walk down' of the job. A phone call when realizing that the correct siding could not be obtained would have been in order. As for the color? Who knows. Bottom line the wrong material was ordered from the manufacturer and installed on the house while we were at work. When we notified Fat Matt's and the sub-contractor that this 'would not work', instead of trying to get the correct siding, an additional request for funds to remove and replace undamaged siding on the opposite end of the house was submitted to our insurance carrier. The siding work that has been done up to this point is sub-par, with large gaps in the fit-up cuts, wrong cuts being made that created additional lap seams, and the material installed being of a 'lighter' gauge, creating ripples along the metal. Weeks went by without an update from Fat Matt's Roofing or their sub-contractor. Once approved for additional funding from our insurance carrier, we expected the work to immediately be finished. That was a couple of months ago, with the job supposedly going to be finished next week (11/26/18). Overall, knowing what we know now, we would not hire this company to roof a dog house. Their roofers and siding sub-contractor did sub-par work; the job has gone on for 5+ months; and they just do not seem to get the concept of 'make it right' or 'customer service'. 5+ months for a simple roof job!! Are you kidding me?!?! Maybe there should have been more 'oversight' on the part of Fat Matt's Roofing instead of just getting the contract signed and letting quality go out the window. We are NOT happy customers and would not, and do not, recommend Fat Matt's Roofing.

I cannot say enough good things about Mio. One of their salespeople actually knocked on my door, and honestly, it couldn't have been better timing. From that very first interaction, the customer service was incredible professional, friendly, and never pushy. They completely transformed my backyard with turf and landscaping, and it looks phenomenal. My wife and I had a great experience with Xavier From Mio Home. We just bought a brand new house and we were looking to get a water softener installed, as Lubbock does have seriously hard water. Xavier quoted us a price that we liked. A couple of weeks later, Saul, came out and it only took him about an hour to install, and the difference in the water was immediate. He even came out after hours to do the install, because that time frame worked best for me and my wife. We also signed up for Mio pest services and Mike was friendly and came out and did what he needed to do.
