I'm blown away. I read the Yelp reviews before I went in, and the're spot on. Wait till you hear this! The owner, Mike, is great. Down to earth, helpful, genuine. I have an old Mercedes roadster and started noticing some areas of concern with the paint. One was a spot that had pulled away from the door handle and I was worried about blisters, peeling and rust. Mike walked the car and told me all about my paint job. Assured me this was, indeed, a good paint job (couldn't have said it was junk and I needed a new one :). He wrote me an estimate for ALL the repairs I wanted to make, then told me what it would cost to do them individually. THEN GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?? He said, "Deb, I think you should live with this for a little while. That area on the door could stay just like that for the next three years for all we know. I'd go to Courtesy and get the factory touch-up paint using the color code. It'll cost you around 12 bucks. If you want, bring it back here and we'll touch it up for you, no cost. If it gets worse, if you start to see rust, if it's driving you nuts, then come back and we'll paint it." Then he tells me how he'd take care of it, preserve the pin-striping, etc. He says, "If you come back in 6 months, I'll honor that estimate." The guy could have made a thousand bucks off me today. So since he didn't actually paint my car, I can't comment on that (although the other reviewers unanimously said it was great). But for his expertise, honesty and customer service? Five stars. Thanks Mike!! Oooh, almost forgot!! There was one more thing I wanted him to look at, and that was replacing the power window motor on my driver's side door. He said, "I'm going to send you to this other place. They do that sort of thing on these cars all the time -- they're the experts. They'll get it done in half the time that we will." Right? I have had two vehicles painted there, both some years ago. This is my 1970 C-10 they painted. It was originally a really ugly stock yellow/green ish., and had a pretty bad hit and run dent on the drivers side bed. I picked the new color from a 1965 paint book. I was really happy with the work they did for the price. You need to be realistic about what can be done for the price you are willing to pay though. I was not looking for a show quality paint job, those can be $5000. and up! I just wanted a good paint job and that's what I got. Trying to post a pic now but may not be able to. read more

I talked a few times with Gary to make certain the job would be done the way I pictured it in my mind. Each time, he was patient and very clear that he understood my wishes. A few weeks later, I made an appointment. Mike estimated about five days, yet his fantastic team finished the bodywork and paint in three days. Mike the owner is a dream to work with. I'm in Los Angeles and we handled everything by phone. Great customer service! Originally brought my car in after another body shop did a poor job repairing my rear bumper. Mike made sure to find me the best price on parts and had the job done in a day. I brought my car in a second time time do to water leakage in the rear of my car. It was causing issues with my wiring. Mike quickly set up a day for me to bring my car in (before the next rain). They sealed my car up and were more than reasonable with the price. He even told me where I can go to get a replacement spare tire. I had a misfortunate encounter with one of those parking lot wheel stops in my 2007 Honda Civic and ripped off the bumper cover when I pulled back from the wheel stop. Thoroughly embarrassed, I tried to reattach it in the parking lot. Knowing it was a temporary fix at best, I let my fingers do the walking and spoke to Kevin at Miracle. He said bring it over. It was 4:30 PM, just about closing time. Kevin looked over the situation and immediately got his hands dirty and reattached the cover, more securely than I had it. When I asked him" how much", he declined to accept any payment. Throughout the whole encounter, he was personable and professional. Mike is a great guy as long as things are going smoothly. The moment you discover a problem, he changes pretty quickly. I got some very similar responses from Mike as the other negative reviews below. Mike is quick to point out that he has been doing this for 37 years. Unfortunately, that 37 years has just given him lots of practice at avoiding responsibility. My husband paid to have my car painted. The same day it was painted he pointed out to Gary that there were lots of little bubbles and or imperfections and Gary indicated they would not flake or peel. As you can see from the photos, those imperfections did flake and peel. It was only painted 5-months ago.I took the car to Mike who said all of this damage was caused by rocks, not the paint job. I asked him about the imperfections my husband pointed out on paint day and Mike said, "Look, you didn't get a four thousand dollar paint job." Mike agreed to "touch-up" the damage. As you can see from the photos, the touch up looks like my granddaughter used nail polish on them. Really disappointed. read more

My engine cover under my car came off. I was extremely stressed out and thought I'd have to spend hundreds to a thousand to get it fixed. I couldn't go on freeways or drive above 30 or it would scrape extremly loud. It also cause my front bumber to come off on the sides. I called on 4th of July and they were open. The service was phenomenal! Super friendly and easy to ask car questions to. They were able to fix everything in about 10 minutes and saved me tons of money! Took my son's vehicle there after someone threw a rock at it late at night while driving down a dark road. Mike came out and gave me a fair estimate. Work was done on time, however there was an imperfection in a piece of the trim (from manufacturer). It was fairly minor but very noticible. I pointed it out to Mike, and he practically smirked at me, as in "are you kidding me". I said if it doesn't cost you any money Mike, I would like it fixed. He reluctantly agreed and walked inside to make a call for the replacement part. Said it would be here in 2 days and would only take 3 or 4 minutes to change out. I said great. Then he proceeded to tell me about a friend who did tile work. Said the wife (client) did a remodel in a very large shower. Saud she got her flashlight out and in the very top corner, there was a small hole in the grout. Mike said "never do work for a doctor's wife"! And basically inferring that I was that picky customer along the way. Well when I got home at night, there was better lighting due to the reflection of the headlights and you could see very obvious markings where they did the repair work from the rock. There were two 6 inch lines about 12 inches apart, where the area was masked off, and ripples in the paint between these lines. Only noticeable from the right angle partly because it is a white vehicle, but very obvious. Next day I brought it back to show Mike. I was disappointed because of the fact that I had to return, but was not rude in any way. He came out, and was very chesty "was there any body work before we did our work", you do realize that we only repaired about a 2 inch dent don't you", we did not repair a 12 inch wide area! I understand that, but all I can say is it appears to me that that is where the area was masked off and that this was not properly block sanded. He said "I'VE BEEN DOING THIS 37 YEARS...". I said you do see the lines correct, he said yes I can see them, but I am going to ask my techician if there was any prior body work. I said Mike, the bottom line is, these ripples were not here when I brought the car to you and now they are. He said again very sternly, we only repaired about a two inch dent! I agreed, but restated, they simply were not there before and your website says "we stand behind our craftsmanship". I said, would think a good business owner, that's when he interrupted me and said "Fuck you, don't tell me what a good business owner would do"! He walked away saying I will call you after my techician gets in. I got a call about an hour later...This is Mike, would next Tues or Wed be better for you? I took it back and got the repairs corrected. When it was done, he left me a message, saying it was done and "for your convenience" I left the key under the mat so you could just pick it up and drive away". I just picked it up. Trim looked great and paint appeared great as well. Until I drove and the sunlight hit it. Rock damage was on passenger door, but there was a very obvious area on the hood, where they covered part of it. The other 3/4 of the hood was not covered and there was OVER SPRAY all over it. A wash and a wax didn't get rid of it but about an hour of polishing with a mild solvent did. I personally will never go back to see this silver tongue devil ever again! read more

Several years ago I had a car painted here and was thrilled with quality and value. I did not hesitate to recommend them and did not hesitate to take my current car there when the clear coat began to flake off. I am sorry I did. The color was not a match for the factory color, there were spots of "orange peel" texture, rubber buttons were painted over, and the lights illuminating the license plate were painted over. Not nearly the quality that I had previously experienced and at a far higher cost. read more

Amazing! Mike at Miracle is an honest business man. Last week I took my car in to have a dent and broken tail light repaired. He did not pressure me into spending money to fix a dent on my older, high mileage car. He recommended I purchase the part online to save money. I bought the tail light assembly on Ebay and when I returned to his shop to have it installed he charged me NOTHING for the labor.
