The audiologist I saw (and highly recommend) was Mary Horn. I think there are several others but I loved Mary. I was fitted for my first hearing aid "ReSound" brand. It syncs with my iPhone and I love the app and also being able to listen to books, music, phone calls directly through my hearing aids. It has changed and improved my life more than I can express.

He contacted the manufacturer, got them to come in and look st the Aids I had. They replaced them out of 1 year warrenty and Darren got them set up the correct way. Darin reprogrammed his hearing aides, discussed his hearing loss since his aides were purchased and provided training on his aides, all of this in one appointment. Once I went to the audiologist, it was basically not a lot different from previous similar visits: she did a hearing test, we discussed options, she adjusted my existing hearing aids in the meantime, and ordered new ones. There was a slight mishap when the new hearing aids arrived: the wrong one had accidentally been ordered; I'm not sure who was at fault. However, they let me know as soon as they realized the mistake, and rushed the correct order (at no extra cost to me) as I was going on vacation soon and wanted to have them before I left. The cost to me was probably about $1000-2000 less than retail, and the hearing aids have worked fine. So I'm satisfied.

We thought our vacation was ruined. I wasn't optimistic, but I checked on Yelp to see if there might be an audiologist anywhere in the valley working on Saturday. I was hoping for a miracle. And I found one! Dr. Young answered the phone, asked us to send over a picture of the devices, and said he'd be happy to try and help. And he was only 9 minutes from the house we were renting! Again I had no idea what I was getting sold as this was my first time with hearing aids. I was told after some time if I wanted to change out for a different brand I could change. I asked to change but was urged by Ryan to keep what I had. After some time I said I wanted to change and was told it was too late. I was initially told I had a 3 year warranty and after told only one. After all I paid 3k for hearing aids and told I'd need to pay another 3k to get what I needed and told by Jay the owner that what I had was garbage and the would never have sold me them. House of Hearing is a joke! If you want to get treated right look elsewhere. I'd highly recommend Utah Medical hearing!
