To work on my hearing aid as an established customer, they required I pay $54 up front. The work they performed was to clean and replace the wire from the body of the hearing aid to the end that goes into the ear. They charged me $185 for that work. So it cost me $239. They don't apply the upfront fee to the total bill. I could have had this done at AudioNova for under $100. I would not recommend North Houston Hearing Solutions to anyone. You would be better off at AudioNova or Costco.

I only need periodic service for cleaning and supplies all of which have been complimentary. Dr. Olivarez spent an hour updating a program on my phone deigned to find my hearing aides if I lose them, as well as hearing through my aides opposed to my phone. Furthermore, Clarity used my Blue Cross insurance that covered my hearing aides 100%. ($6,000 plus) Even though some audiologists may accept insurance, I learned in shopping they may add a contract fee not covered by insurance. Clarity does not, and maintains excellent service. Highly recommended!

Holy crap this place was really bad. Charged $50 for basically nothing…read more Initial appointment setting went fine and they were willing to reschedule me. The front desk staff were very friendly. They get a star for this alone because that was not a problem at all. I did get my hearing checked and was told it wasn't anything physical which is good. However they pulled out a manual and were trying to figure out how to work the equipment!! How scary. They were clearly untrained. One of them was an intern which I understood, but the intern seemed to be more competent than the actual "doctor." They didn't run a test on me simply because they COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW. So they gave me an alternative test that might not have been what I needed. I was then pulled into the "counseling" room... This is where it really started to break down. I was told that my physical hearing was fine (yay!) I was told that my auditory processing was messed up (I can hear 6 out of 10 things that people say when there is background noise.) She seemed to think this was satisfactory enough. She told me there were therapy options available, but it was a throw away sentence and I did not get a referral or any more information. She also told me that they work with students but because I am past that phase in my life, it didn't matter. (???) She then acted like she was done talking. I asked about my debilitating tinnitius. Because I always have background noise (tinnitius), I can't really hear anyone... the combo of the noise and the auditory processing disorder. She told me I needed to go to an ENT, as that is outside of her scope? She told me no solutions but "just ignoring it," and "never being in silence." A simple Google search shows that there are a lot of ways to fix that. My tinnitus is VERY loud. It is not just the silence that I hear it ringing, it is always. I was also told to just deal with the auditory processing issue. ??? I don't want to come to a doctor and be told to just deal with it. If something is outside of your scope, or there are therapies that can help... For God's sake, refer me! I can't just ignore my way out of tinnitius and auditory processing disorder. She was trying to empathize but the way she did it made it very clear that the "same" problems that she had were much lesser versions of what I have... I was sent away with a chart that said my physical hearing was fine, and that's it. I then mentioned my ear pain (which was on my chart.) The intern had diligently charted my history and current issues. The doctor said "what ear pain?" Which shows that she didn't even take a cursory glance at what the intern had written. She also asked if I listened to loud music because "people have given themselves tinnitius that way." Another signifier that she did not read my chart because I have had things happening since childhood and have a history of ear infections and noise damage. I told her I don't listen to loud music... A few minutes later she suggested I listen to something to drown out the tinnitius without realizing it would have to be very loud to drown out. Long story short: I can only hear 60 percent in any situation with any sort of background noise, which is apparently acceptable to them. I was given no recourse and told to just deal with it. My so called doctors were fussing with a manual on how to use the equipment and did not do one of the tests they wanted to because they simply didn't know how. Doctor didn't bother to even glance at my chart. $50 for a simple beep test, basic pressure test and playing audio with static in the background. Please go find a different audiologist. The people working here seemed to have the candor, bedside manner, and experience of someone they randomly pulled off the street and taught to do a few tests. I am getting a second opinion for sure, but I wanted to warn against anyone else going here. EDIT: The manager has responded to me and credited my office visit payment. I appreciate that they are implementing changes with the process. I will be in contact with them via e-mail to correct the issue. Because I had a really prompt response and they are implementing changes, I have updated my review to three stars.

(My son had practice, so we had to leave) It's so infuriating how doctors prioritize their time over paying customers. I get that appts can run behind schedule, but a courtesy call that they are running late isn't too much to ask. My husband and I both took off work to juggle school pickups & my son missed 2 class periods, only to have our time wasted. Super frustrating. And honestly, inexcusable. We've rescheduled his appt with a different office for next week. Hopefully they'll be more considerate of their customer's time and the effort it takes to make these appointments.

I first went there after seccessive severe sinus/lung infections that were not responding to the usual treatment. The first MD I saw was Dr. Choo, who started a treatment that was successful. He also tested me as have his successors for other agents that may contribute to my illnesses and treated me quickly and followed up with me to assure the treatments were working. I am a RN who is now retired and very particular about choosing a competent doctor and practice for my care.

It's overcrowded and long wait times!!! I opt for this option and at the time of admission NO Wait and NO line. I was surprised and kept telling the ER nurse and she said don't jinx us! About 3 hours later the lobby was full of patients waiting and every ER room was full. Applauding the ER staff for their attentiveness and prompt care. Hospitals claim that all systems can pull up history from different hospitals but it seems confusing because only the doctors are able to get this done?!! Fairly new building from the outside. Super freezing in the ER. Bring a coat!

8.25.26 (really the stars should 3.5) Unfortunately I had…read moreto visit the St. Luke's emergency room twice in one week. The first time was 8.18.26 and we were there from 5pm-12am. The second time was 8.28.26 from 8pm-2am. On the average that seems like a normal amount of time for an emergency room. They were quick to take my vitals and put me in a room to wait. The chairs were the most uncomfortable chairs ever made. When it was time to hook up and IV we were sent to chairs in the hallway; where we stayed the rest off of the time on the first visit. (These chairs were much better!-Thank goodness!) The nurses were nice and helpful. To be honest I don't know the name of a single doctor or nurse that came to see me. No one introduced themselves to me. The level of care I received was fine. Not great and not bad on my first visit. The second visit the doctor came and talked to me. She did not even examine me. She asked questions and left. I am praying I don't have to go to ANY ER any time soon.
