Not a single one of these things have happened. Getting ahold of some at the practice is impossible. I don't even know if my referral is active. I'm not even sure if the doctor is taking my insurance. DO NOT COME TO CALIFORNIA HEAD AND NECK. If you're pcp refers your here have your referral redirected immediately. Don't wast your time. Doctor Banthia couldn't even be bothered to explain a procedure, he told me to scan a QR code on a brochure then told me to use AI.

I had a work comp claim for hearing loss and HearUSA had a contract at the time with the intermediary insurance company. Sue handled all the necessary paperwork, which documented my work's acceptance of the claim, I had brought in. This was very helpful. I was provided a hearing test and the aids were ordered. Within a couple weeks I went to pick them up. The audiologist showed me how to use them, programed them to my needs and explained how to use the related app on my phone. Over those couple years afterwards I would return quarterly to have them replace the domes and check the speaker wires. I was in and out within minutes. Twice I had to have the aids returned to the manufacturer due to issues that arose with the internal speakers. They handled the packaging, shipping and follow up. I received them back in a timely manner. Those aids are now out of warranty. I was advised that HearUSA does not now have a contract with the intermediary insurance company involved in my original claim. I was advised to contact them should my employer, via work comp, provide me with a new set of aids once these bite the dust, to determine if whatever intermediary insurance company is being used is on their list to work with; and we'll go from there. My experience with this particular franchise was 5 star and I hope to return when that time comes.

I signed an agreement and paid my portion but UNITED MED BILLING DID NOT PROCESS CORRECTLY!!!!!!!!!! I made lots of calls to no avail. So I've wasted my time, money & my hearing health (my deposit is coming in 30 days). My mother was there the day before to get her hearing aids looked at because they don't work. The hearing aids were purchased from this location. Teresa said she fixed them, after making my mom go away and come back in an hour. Teresa did not fix them.Thats why I accompanied my mom today. Prior to going to the office I called all the phone numbers to talk to some one or make an appointment. No one answer and as of today, two days later no one has called.Teresa said she would not help my mom without an appointment. When I explained that we both called several times and left a message every time she said "I don't have time to answer the phone or pick up messages". After going back and forth with her just trying to get my moms hearing aids to work Teresa said "I don't put up with this shit and I will never help your mother again". You need to go somewhere else" When I asked for her supervisor she gave me the phone number that goes to the voice mail that she doesn't have time to answer or pick up messages. After repeatedly asking for someone above her she gave me a paper with Beltone Electronics Corporation in Chicago, IL and wrote the name Ross on it. She said she thinks Ross is her supervisor. I would recommend no one ever go to this place or anywhere Teresa works. This is no way to treat an 86 year old women or man that's just trying to be able to hear with hearing aids purchased from this facility.
