This is such a wonderful business they help people experiencing homelessness, they also have programs for people, struggling with addiction and children's homes and foster care but the best part about them is that they are a ministry. They are strong believers in Christ and main goal is to spread the good news of Jesus!! They have pretty fair prices for a thrift store and really unique items on occasion. There are a few cashiers that come across as extremely rude. That would be my own downside but overall the employees are helpful kind and believers in Christ! Definitely recommend this store and Miracle Hill has a whole is wonderful! read more

I was visiting out of state, and purchased several items totaling over $100. Later that night I realized One of my bags wasn't handed to me. The next day was Sunday, they are closed and I flew back home. I called Monday and spoke with the manager Silvia. I emailed her a prepaid shipping label and begged her to please send my items after she confirmed they were still there. It's been two weeks, no package and won't respond to my emails. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the service. There was a "Manager Discount" stating furniture to be 50% off. When we got to the check out with a piece of furniture, the lead cashier told us that our furniture selection was not included in the sale because it was a "new sale item." We obviously did not know what that meant, much less how to identify a "new sale item" because there was NO signage indicating that certain pieces of furniture where not included in the sale. All of this could have been smoothed over nicely but the cashiers were quite rude, making us feel dumb for not knowing that the furniture we wanted was not part of the sale. read more

Clean thrift store with a variety of clothing, houseware, and furniture. Not impressed with how they mark up the prices on random items. I saw a clemson hoodie with an oil stain on the sleeve for $14... I should have taken a picture. Some of the staff is nice, but others seem like they're judging you hard. I saw another review mention they were rude, I somewhat agree. Good place to visit every now and then! read more

Employees are the RUDEST! You should probably train them on how to speak with customers before you send them out on the floor! Major turn off as a shopper especially coming from a "Christian based" company. Prices are astronomical & marked higher than what amazon charges (which is laughable). If you do decide to donate your clothing/items with them you should probably pop those tags off as they mark up anything with the tags attached! The people who are actually in need of thrift store pricing should probably avoid shopping here. Pretty good selection of clothes, lots that are barely worn. Many of the front of store employees are quite rude, though.

Months later, major improvement! Keep it up! Book shelves are more organized! Not as dirty...:) *******As big as this place, Im not attracted very much. I just dont want to browse as much when entering the store. It is more furniture and handyman items for him in the back. I spotted a really really nice rare vest puffy coat thing for $7 once...but didnt get it. I dont know what it is about this place..abundant but I just cant connect with it...so strange a feeling I keep picking up. I come just to walk the aisle n friends have found few not so cheap furniture here as well. I found a map here for a buck. Maybe its one of those hit or miss type places. They sell used cars here. Despite all that I almost gave this place 2 stars...It is that wanta get out of here asap feeling...creepy. read more

Well this isn't about this store. I went into the powdersvile location, 1st time. Looking for a pair of pants for work at a good price.found a pair and I went to pay, the girl told me they $13. I said for $5 more I could buy a new pair, then was told since they were rung up, I had to pay for them. What a joke. I thought this was a THRIFT STORE. What charge such high price, are the trying to compete with the Walmart down the road. Never go there again read more

One of the most organized and clean thrift stores I visit! It is generally easy to navigate the aisles and the staff are always very good people who are willing to serve at all times. Plus, Miracle Hill genuinely helps the needy in our area and so I love to give here and shop here. As all thrift stores do, this store recieves a hodge podge of items but they have a system to categorizing things anyway. I love this store and will continue to shop and donate here. I'm not sure if it is the big bosses or the Head Store manager, this store has gone down hill miraculously in just a couple of months. It's beginning to look junky, cluttered and lose it's upscale thrift appeal. Even the employees are looking miserable. My family and friends have shopped with Miracle Hill for years. My husband can't even find decent attire for church or dinner, like he used to. It was already tough to get him to shop, now this sad box is a disappointing kick off to our Saturday. Oh please let me not speak on the child they have at the car grave yard next door. We were looking for a car for our grandson. Just a nice starter vehicle. I really hope the young guy they have there, was just watching the office until the adults got back. read more

There seems to be a turnover in staff on a regular basis and can tell you first hand, most everyone is RUDE and has no clue with simple procedures. I expressed to the VP of Thrift that the guy who works in the back has been demeaning an ex friend of mine more than a few times, where it lead to a break up. He specifically said that he knows, "that kind" because he, too is a "Narcassist"and can relate to cheating and playing the game. Then he proceeds to downplay his current relationship, and confronts me over months of stopping me in the store to either flirt with me or give me unwanted details of his relationships and the lady he is with. This guy works prodominantly in the back of the store. He says.." he likes his cake and eat it too". Because I found him to be repulsive and had nerve to give his opinion with a guy I was with, and being negative and unwanted inappropriate gestures, I began to be aloof. around him. So, he then began to manipulate and go into control mode. I had some items I need to leave up front so I could add to my discount card and try on clothing in the meantime. It seemed more practical. But the rude manager, along with the same dude from the back were being unreasonable and being contradicting on very simple stuff!! And them asking me over and over if I was intended to buy the bulky items. What a waste of drama! Then I'm suddenly walking around the store struggling with the items and killing my lower back. The rude manager made the environment hostile by going to the back and coming up front to relay things this trouble maker guy was telling the manager I was doing. Soooo, all of a sudden I'm accused of stealing and harassing multiple people in the store! Really??? Well, please show me the cameras and proof. Of course, they suddenly ignore and do nothing. Im, of course venting and who wouldn't. You just get accused Anyone can easily read between the lines. The guy in the back who has had his share with law and yet they imploy him anyway, to put customers in very uncomfortable situations is just not right. Because he admits being a true "Narcassist", I see now why he exaggerated and has been causing drama all along. Ok, are you ready for the kicker?. I'm in the dressing room for 45 minutes trying on clothes and quiet, minding my own business. Well, as I'm checking out....the "Narcassist" employee has called the police and 2 police officers nonchalantly come up to me, with a smile and says they were called. Hmmmm, well why did they take my money and hurry and ring me up? The lady manager with the white hair even tried to cheat me out of money which I pointed out as she rung me up. I felt so embarrassed and violated....didnt know what to do. I feel they knew they were in the wrong for lying and making me lug around a bulk of containers which was noticed by other customers and considered to be discriminating and lady told me she witnessed much of what occurred and I had a legit case. VP of Thrift tried to manipulate me as well. He initially said he would return my $75 and then later tried to manipulate for the matter to go away. Then taunts me by taking his "true words" back. He's a bad joke for representation. Never returns calls either as promised. read more
