Will use again due to the quality of the final product which was ensured by the owner. The owner also coordinated the job with a plumber due to piping issues. The beauty of the job was 5 star. Owner also suggested a shower door contractor that was excellent as well. All good things take time...It was not cheap, but it doesn't look cheap. The bottom line was quality for me. The owner also has good taste, go with his suggestions.

I offered use of the lanai, as I just had an outlet installed (one thing that did go well.) Instead, after walking away and subsequently returning, I discovered that he brought the saw into the bathroom, and since there was no outlet installed in the bathroom yet he decided to move my bureau and use the outlet behind. At one point I saw him taping up the drawers with blue tape, as he said the drawers were opening when he moved the bureau. Again I told him to bring it out to the lanai, but he said he was almost done and I let him finish. The bureau has sticky tape on it that will need to be corrected. Someone had to come back two additional times to fix problems with the tiles and the grouting. From a company who did terrific work with my kitchen two years ago, this project was a total disaster. If I had another 30K I would have someone rip out the entire thing and start over.

This time we had them come to grout our baseboards thru out the entire house and closets. Our house was flooded by Helene and the contractor used a thinner baseboard and we didn't like to looks of it as the tile didn't match up to them. The Grout doctor did a wonderful job! Juan gave me a quote, it seemed very reasonable, so I scheduled the regrouting of my shower tile floor. Dave was the guy for the job, he seemed very nice and explained everything, though the last part about "sealing" the grout confused me because if you read anywhere about grout, it always says to seal it after it's dried, but they apparently sealed right after putting the grout in(?). Conceptually that made no sense to me since grout needs to be cured before applying sealer, but I trusted them since they're the professionals. About a month after the job was done, some long cracks were already starting to show. Dave came back, added in some kind of caulking within the corners all through the perimeter, including covering the cracks. Visually looked good. A month after that, a few more tiny cracks started showing, I bought my own silicon caulk to cover those with, I didn't want to even bother calling them for the same end result A few months later, right now, more cracks are starting to show. I won't call them back because I won't go through the whole process, wait 3 days to use the shower, only for new cracks to appear again a month or 2 from now. Clearly something about their process is flawed, but I don't know it and they apparently don't either There was yet another visit to re-grout a different part of my shower floor that I had missed previously. They brought in a woman and she dug out just a tiny bit of existing grout and then covered up what was there with new grout. Took her 10 min or less of work. I called Juan, who appears to be the one in charge of the company, to tell him that Dave carved out most existing grout and I asked why she hadn't and he said he'd have to charge me to send out Dave, because Dave at least seemed to know what he was doing. The woman was very rude and after I said "fine just finish the job as is" she went in and "sealed the grout"(the wet grout, mind you, so liquid on a mushy surface, that makes no sense), and then she urinated in my toilet, which just felt very unprofessional(and gross, to be honest). She was there for 20 min and was about to leave, why use my toilet? The lesson I learned is to not always go with the lowest price

I am amazed at people who don't even use his services but slam him on this forum because he is too honest to give a "guesstimate" price over the phone. Anyone with working knowledge of home maintenance knows how many variables there are in the preparation BEFORE the painting which ultimately determines the value of a paint job. And the degree of preparation is what will drastically affect the price.

Once the work started, Project Supervisor Matt had great communication with us and his crew. Matt came by almost everyday and he knew exactly what was happening and where the project was and he keep things on track so good that the project was completed 2 weeks earlier than expected even though I had made a change order to include a new floor. I was impressed to see Neil the Project Manager come in himself and do some finishing work. The demo guys, plumber, electrician, tile guy and painter/drywaller , all the crew were pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Several months ago, Louis installed a floor for me. To his…read morecredit, he was punctual and pleasant to deal with. However, the prep work to level out my floor before installing the laminate was almost non-existent. As a result, he was in and out of the job in only (2) days. That meant that most of the areas that should have been leveled, of course were not. My floor now has many spots where the floor in noisy and sinks down when it is stepped on. Since concrete floors notoriously need leveling, I was surprised that he did not take the time to do the proper prep work. In spite of NOT doing the proper leveling / prep work he did charge me hundreds of ($) above our agreed upon price for the "add'l material". To make matters worse, of all of the similar floor installations that I have walked on, this is the ONLY job that is so noticeably poorly installed.
