I'm usually someone that searches online for reviews before using a service and as such I understand how detrimental a harsh review can be to an honest service. I heard about Miracle Movers from Uhaul's site and it had outstanding reviews so I took a shot. I don't usually write reviews but after getting their service and checking Yelp I was baffled by one such scathing review and wanted to set the record straight. Here's my experience. I had very short notice to load up my pod the week prior to its delivery. Aaron made sure I understood that it was alright to adjust the delivery time as needed. The night before the loading day, I finally received word of when the drop-off window would be. Aaron gladly accommodated the time even though it was the night prior without any hassle. The next day Aaron and (I think Sean?) showed up promptly and got straight to work. They never made a fuss and made me understand all I needed to do was to point at what I wanted moved and they took care of it. Now this being a move and them not having telepathy, it means I would have to be present with them to ensure all of the items I needed were loaded and nothing that I wanted them to avoid was accidentally put in the pod. They didn't ask me to do this because it seems like common sense to me to be helpful to the people helping you and to aid them in identifying the things I wanted to move. There were a few troublesome items like the automatic litterbox that they handled without any gripe. They were extremely professional in how they packed the pod too ensuring that the space was being used efficiently and safely with respect to the items. I stupidly forgot to get tie downs and straps but Aaron went and used his own to ensure my stuff would be safely secured. They even went above and beyond and wrapped my furniture without me even asking. The entire time I kept finding more and more items from my car and living space that I decided I wanted to put in the pod and the entire time they ensured it was no issue whatsoever. I never once felt rushed. I can't emphasize this enough but moving is obviously a hassle. It's hard work and that's why lazy people like myself hire hard working people like Aaron and his team. Through all of the loading and heavy lifting they remained professional, courteous, and dependable. Now this wasn't me asking them to move a 5 bedroom house in 3 hours. In fact, I packed mostly everything myself prior to this. I accounted for all of that when I booked them for the 2 hours. If they had to pack or dissasemble things themselves I would think it would take much longer. I expected it to take 2 hours and they were finished in under an hour for my entire apartment. Their prices were very competitive for what I was asking of them. To anyone that read this review, I ask that you do your due diligence and check the other reviews online instead of only one source. In my experience the people that complain the most and self victimize are usually the loudest and most likely to leave a review and the people that are happy often don't feel the need, so I wanted to do my part. I feel as though people that leave awful reviews for simple mistakes are not only damaging small businesses but also doing a great disservice to their community by steering them away from reliable services. Had a great experience with these guys from start to finish! The owner, Aaron, responded very quickly to my initial inquiry for a quote and was really responsive to any questions I had along the way. The scheduling process was easy and the initial quote ended up being pretty spot on. Brent and Blaire did a fantastic job with our move! They were very careful with our items and didn't leave so much as a smudge on my brand new walls which I was very thankful for. One awkward to carry item did end up getting damaged, but they let us know they would replace the broken piece for us as soon as it happened. They are the BEST and LOWEST COST moving service I have ever used. They are true professionals!! They knew what they were doing and worked very efficiently. I have never seen guys work so hard and fast. No breaks whatsoever. They moved furniture, boxes, etc. out of 10 x 15 storage unit to a house 24 miles away. An excellent experience. Aaron, Cedric and TJ were punctual, friendly, and very efficient. They expertly placed the contents of a 250 sq ft storage unit into a 200 sq ft unit with room left over and placed everything where I have access to articles.
