Even so, he kindly offered a discount on my rental, which was unexpected but very much appreciated. I truly commend him for outstanding customer service. I was sent to this location from another U-Haul facility, and the representative there had left notes for them to honor a few miles and assist with a discount because of the inconvenience. From the moment we arrived, the employee at this location was dismissive, rolling her eyes, and making it clear she didn't want to help. She ignored the notes on my reservation, and when the original facility called to confirm, she openly rolled her eyes and acted as though it was a burden. Instead of doing a walkthrough or explaining anything about the truck, she simply handed me the keys, told me to "go find it," and closed the store. After walking to locate the truck, I found it stuck in mud and had to dig it out myself. Once I got it started, I discovered one of the headlights didn't work -- making the vehicle unsafe (and illegal) to drive at night. At this point, the store was closed, and no one was available to help. When I followed up with the manager, instead of apologizing or addressing the lack of customer service, he defended the employee and said that because I drove the vehicle, I could not receive a full refund -- even though the truck should never have been handed over in that condition, and I had no opportunity to resolve it before the store closed. He even tried to suggest that my laughing with a friend was directed at his employee, which is completely untrue. The responsibility to ensure the vehicle is safe and the customer is informed lies with U-Haul staff, not the customer. Being handed unsafe equipment with no instructions and then being blamed for driving it is unacceptable. I strongly urge anyone considering renting from this location to think twice. U-Haul corporate needs to address the lack of professionalism and disregard for customer safety here.

The hallways are wide to make navigation with the free dollys simple. They allow moving in and out until 10pm seven days a week although the office closes at 6pm, which should really be open until 7p or 8p to assist possible new tenants upon leaving work. The rates are competitive and the grounds are clean. Directly in front of the officevis a loading and unloading area. Security cameras are everywhere but no security officer on duty. There are several sizes of Uhaul rentals available at the north side of the building.

And these guys just charged for the job which was quite convenient and cheaper.
