Tasted like hamburger meat. Overly salty. Didn't eat. My friend had the pasta with squid. Disgusting. So fishy. The only good thing was the tiramisu. But that's hard to mess up. Service was terrible, despite the fact we were the only ones there. The waitress was on her phone the whole time. We had to knock on the kitchen door to get service. Elsewhere in town I landed some meal-sized salads (always featuring tuna) but what Panamar served was consistently different and better. Rather than skewing Italian, they seemed more Greek-leaning, but they were inventive and tasty where the salads elsewhere were not. The Mazzancolle (10 euro) featured tempura prawns, mango, avocado, and sweet and sour onion in a yogurt-lime sauce. This salad was both well-priced and delicious. Ditto for the Salmone (also 10 euro) which featured a healthy dose of sashimi salmon for that low price point. The salad less loved than the above two was the Baccala, a mix of cod, potato salad, green olives, fried capers, and more.
