Corn tortilla made in house per order so expect to wait a while but trust me it's worth the wait. You'll never want packed tortillas again. The plates are filling. We ordered a bunch of tacos: Chicken, beef, discada, barbacoa, and trumpo. Everything was great. Flavor, texture, freshness. This became our go to spot for tacos in the neighborhood. I think they close early in the afternoon in preparation for their food truck during the evening?

Great tacos ! Open sundays! Big menu and delicious food. The folks that work there are nice and helpful. The interior is fun and the food is fast and tasty. Give them a shot!

It' was only a matter of time before I felt compelled to leave a review. After only the first visit and now being on my umpteenth visit. I am hooked lol. The place is always clean, great music great customer service and best of all the food is amazing. Now I've only been here to get breakfast tacos for the early Morning risers and praise team at Essential Life Church and I've only heard great things from them, including the kids. Next time Im there I will try remembering to snap pictures of the food lol, I think YELP likes that.. Added pictures from my latest visit. :D

Small strip center next to gas station plenty of parking. Small place when you walk in you walk into a large wall with windows and menu is on wall above the windows...when ready you walk all the way to end of wall to cashier and place order. They also have menus at cashier. There was 3 in our group and we ordered 2 taco plates and a burrito and 3 drinks. Total $49 (the drinks were $10 of the total) plates were $12 and burrito was $11 They bring food to your table which is nice for a small place. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted good...for lunch tacos and burrito I would give them a rating of 7 out of 10. Will return again but next visit would be for breakfast tacos...and another review.

Living near here years ago, I would come in the morning often for an al pastor torta and horchata. The food was always delicious and hot, the service fast, and the vibe inside very pleasant thanks to the bright colors used to decorate.

Have enjoyed this place for opening day. Love that the menu has grown a bit. Still visit from time to time. Miss the Joya fruit sodas though wish they would bring that back.

Good bites. Clean environment. Friendly staff. AMAZING salsa. Overall: if you're looking for breakfast tacos in the Spring area, this place will fit the bill.

Not sure why I haven't posted a review earlier but this our go to for authentic tacos and breakfast tacos and burritos that never disappoints. Today found us with two teenage boys and a run for breakfast that was both reasonably priced and filling was a must. The boys devoured the 4 chorizo and egg tacos and than made the bacon and egg version disappear. The potato and egg tacos customized with beans and cheese were gone as well. I had to protect my more conventional lunch time tacos, a gringo loaded with trompo, cheese and onion and a campechana which contained all the components of the gringo but adds a wonderfully grilled carne asada steak to the mix. Amazing, authentic food with genuinely good customer service. This is a hidden gem. Drop by for the real thing and you will become a regular.

Absolutely phenomenal. We've tried a bunch of similar taco joints around and this is by far the best. Try the grande Campechana!

Occasionally, I'll have flour tortillas if I can't have corn. I thought I had already eaten the finest tacos ever made up in the Woodlands, but that place went out of business. Heartbreak. Then I read about the Taco House, outlandish claims of excellence. I have to try this upstart tacoria! Oh my god, every thing I had read was true. The finest tacos ever made are here, the tortillas are thick, flavorful. The ingredients that go into your taco are infused with a magical flavor that is unbelievable, there is a lot to choose from. My wife and I ordered 4 and ate them there. We then got 4 to go , with the orange sauce, the mildest one. Do yourself a favor and use it liberally, you won't regret it. The restaurant is located on FM 2920, in the space my favorite hamburger restaurant, 'Jack's', was.

I'd wanted to try La Cocina for a while for that reason and those plans finally came to fruition. You walk up to a counter that has all the ingredients for taco making right in front of you. The guy asks you how many you are going to want, and if you want flour or corn, so he can let them know in the back to make your tortillas fresh. About 2 minutes later, out came our tortillas. I ordered 3: one with eggs and bacon, one with some kind of egg and sausage combo and one non-breakfast taco with fajita meat. The fajita taco was just okay, but the breakfast tacos had me thinking about them for hours after the fact. They aren't very big, so if you're a growing boy like me, I'd aim for 4-5 of them. The guy behind the counter tried to guide us into his suggestion of 2 each, but I jumped in and said make it 3 for me. If I could go back in time, I would have done 4 and made them all the breakfast variety. Both breakfast tacos were straight bangers from another dimension. All the sauces were great and none were too spicy. I might have to return to this place sooner rather than later because I really did think about it the rest of the day. I love you, La Cocina.

I want to try carne asado which I feel will be worth the $1 up-charge. And try the nopales to see how they make theirs. Only complaint I have is the menu. You can't see it until you are close in line. I want a menu I can view while in line waiting. This way the line runs faster. Lastly the menu transitions are distracting when trying to read the menu. I say turn off the transitions, they are more frustrating than a cool feature. I will be back.

I just parked near the side. Also, I believe they ONLY take cash! Of course I ordered the birria tacos and ate them there. They were pretty good and I could definitely see myself coming back (especially for the convenience). I will say that I've had better (I'm a huuuuge authentic taco lover & I've had plenty of birria tacos from different places/cities). I would give them a 8/10. My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.
