I LOVE Misred and often order online since I live in Carrollwood but EVERY time we go to St Pete. I have to stop here. We just left and they were having a store wide FLASH SALE ( including a bunch of Farm Rio! ) and there is always a rack outside with some crazy deals on other top brands like BuddyLove. I ordered. Farm Rio slip dress a couple of weeks ago and shipping was very fast. MISRED is always staffed with the sweetest people. Today was no different. There is always adorable new jewelry available, purses, shoes, sneakers and great gifts. If MISRED opened in Tampa ( consider this a plea ) - I would probably skip Anthropologie altogether. The selection here is honestly second to none. MISRED is TEN stars. I wonder if... the seating placed between the dressing rooms could be oriented so that those sitting would be facing the door to the outside. The rooms have privacy curtains but I have knocked those during changing, only to see someone's husband or boyfriend sitting one foot from my dressing room facing me. This has happened several times so I'm generally rushing and trying things on over my existing clothes Just a teensy thought though might not bother others! I'm a local but this shop has a sign that I thought was so genius. Right under the checkout counter it says something about they'll ship your purchases to you to preserve room in your suitcase. How smart is that? Anywho, I've been shopping here since I was in high school and they specialized in denim shorts with paintings and fabric cutouts on the back pockets. Now, this shop carries trendy/beachy apparel but there's still quite a range of styles and silhouettes to play around with. Throughout the store you'll see jewelry and candle selections from local artisans each with their own flair. The thing that always gets me in the store is the sale rack they have placed outside. I've gotten some of my favorite pieces there. Be mindful that I would consider this shop to be "affordable" given the grand scheme of fashion options available; however I would not call it accessible. This was a cute boutique that had a bunch of clothing organized by color. It was mostly pastel shades that I'm not super into, but I tried on one shirt that had bright flowers. They did however have bright jewelry. On the wall by the jewelry they posted the picture of the artist that handmade the jewelry and their geographic location. I'm a bright girl, so I bought a pair of small hoops that were magenta. They were $26, this is not a bargain hunters paradise. There was a very friendly young blonde girl that helped me try on clothes. There are also four other young female employees who just chatted with each other. read more

Hands down best boutique I've ever been too. They have clothes that are actually different. The styling is awesome. It's not overwhelming and has a lot of options. Bigger inside then you think. Staff is incredibly friendly, but doesn't chase or follow you around the store. Dressing rooms are actually spacious and well lit!! 100% would go down there just to go back. read more

I like that I can find figure-flattering clothing (I have a booty but a little waist) that's in style and fun without having to leave St Pete. I live in Chicago, but we come to St. Pete regularly to visit family, and Misred is always on my "must visit" list! They have such fun clothing and accessories, and there is a nice variety of price points. The jewelry is extremely reasonably priced and so fun and cute! I came here on my lunch break to find something cute for my birthday dinner. I thought this boutique was extremely cute. I found really good deals on the clothes I picked as well as the shoes and jewelry! I would say the clothing is modest and church Sunday appropriate. If I didn't find sales on the items I bought I truthfully might not have bought them. So that being said the store is a little pricey but that's expected at a boutique. I also found out they have an online inventory so more options!! Yay!! Another great thing is this is centrally located for the downtown area. read more

One of the cutest boutiques in St. Petersburg and in my lifetime. They offered dresses here under 60 dollars. The staff is super friendly and helpful. A lot of fun and unique pieces to be added to your wardrobe. I went with a cute top pink with a floral print that opens out in the back. I wore it hiking around Mount Rainer. They even had a J.Lo inspired Versace dress that she wore back in 2000. read more

Misred Outfitters is an interesting little clothing exchange/boutique for the younger, hipster set; they specialize in clothing that has been transformed/rehabilitated, casual and locally designed items and some vintage clothing and accessories. Their work can be hit or miss, but also consists of items you won't find anywhere else. During my most recent visit, I ran across a couple of fabulous 1970s gowns (unaltered), some vintage pieces that had been totally reworked into more contemporary looks, casual basics such as striped knit tops and leggings, and an array of funky "statement" necklaces. The prices are good here, and I really like some of their sartorial choices; however, some of their rehabbed items can be a little old or frumpy -- it really depends on when you go. The service is friendly, the shop itself is maintained very nicely, and it's a good place to check out if you are relatively thin, under 40 and a fan of street-friendly, hipster-ish and low priced fashion. read more

I stopped by Misred on my way out of town to exchange a bracelet. It was 10:15 and the sign on the door said they opened at 11. I saw someone inside so I called and they were happy to let me in early. I quickly made an easy exchange and left. However, I realized I had left my keys in the shop. Before I could add more money to the parking meter, the salesman ran my keys out to me! Now this is what I call superior customer service and it's rare these days. Misred is awesome - it used to be all vintage, but now is all new clothes, shoes and accessories at really reasonable prices (they still have a rack of select vintage which has some really cool things!). I like buying stuff here knowing that not a million other people will have it (which is what happens when you shop at Forever 21 or Target). Some of the clothes are cute in here. Today I bought a dress, and my other two friends bought a lot more. They had a special in which they were offering a free pair of earrings if you spend $30. My friends checked out first and got really cute earrings and I was excited to get mine. My total came to $29.96. She said I needed to spend four more cents, which I thought was a joke, but it wasn't. She suggested I buy a $4 chapstick. I think the right thing to do, being 4 cents away and having friends with me that spent well over $30, would be to throw me a bone and forget the 4 cents but the salesperson did not want to do that, and we even joked about it and she was rather snarky. We will not be back due to this lasting impression this had right before we walked out the door. read more

Love Misred! In my experience, the staff has ALWAYS been friendly to me (even when I have my noisy toddler with me). I think they give a fair amount of cash/credit for the things I bring in, and they usually take a good amount of stuff. That said, be aware that they have a very specific aesthetic (generally quality, authentic vintage) and will be choosy on the things they take...but after all, it is their store, and quality control and consistency is obviously important to them. Also, if you're just shopping, I think things are priced very fair. Great shop, I recommend it 100%! read more
