They have all three meals and snacks available. The kids are able to play indoors and outdoors on most days when it isn't terribly hot outside or windy. There is a great sized yard that is completely fenced in for the kids to be curious, explore and have some fun while being safe. They sometimes do water play days during the summer and some small field trips. There is an app to sign in/sign out your child and they will also post pictures and videos of the activities the kids do while at daycare. Pricing is a bit steep, especially when adding transportation and early or late dropoffs, but it's possibe that your family might qualify for some government programs and subsidies to help offset some of the cost. Communication is done through the app or by text/phone and is generally pretty good. My family and especially my son feel very comfortable with our choice in daycare provider and feel safe leaving our son in their care.

When we first met Ambar she seemed very professional and had parent handout and had preschool curriculum. I have twin boys they just turned 2. One of my twins takes a little bit more time adjusting and trusting new people. They did 2days a week so I knew it would take a bit more time. But he never got a chance. First day he had a lil fever but threw up too so she called me and I picked them up. He was sick. But by next week 6 days later when it was time to go he was over his cold. But by 10am everyday he went she texts me to pick him up. She has 99 degree policy. That's barely over regular and she used ear thermometer which can be more sensitive. Also kept his sweater on in heated house. Well she also has policy that they can't come back next day if sent home w "fever". (No other symptoms). Long story short he literally missed 70% of time bc he would cry/fit a little with a sweater on (she didn't take off) then his temp would be elevated. Of course he's crying he never bonded with her. Then she took pic of it and texted me to pick him up then couldn't come next day. So I'm picking both twin boys up Bc of gas etc. Only very first time was he actually sick. I went and took him to doctor and they said he was fine. I asked if they could prescribe Tylenol to me so she could give to him but as soon as I told her this she sent me a letter saying they were dropping us. I asked her what other parents do and she actually told me that she knows that other parents give their kids Tylenol in car each and everyday before dropping off. I cannot and will not drug my kids so they won't get sent home. If I had a job (I'm self employed) I would have been fired bc I had to literally miss 2days a week every week for 2 mths. I was paying her money those days for them to not even be there. This was all before covid. I don't know her policies are now in light of covid.... I found a state of California brochure for family daycares and what they should do for fevers. She did not follow those guidelines (this was again before covid)

My kids were shy kids but once they met and interacted with Amber not only did they come out of their shell but they bonded with her. I had informed them my son has some issues with spitting up and he has a doctors appointment coming up the following week to go over the spit up. Mind you while in their care they were over feeding him when I informed them what the max was and making the spit up worse than what it was before . After the doctor appointment my doctor had me write some notes for them to follow since my baby's weight is getting to bad spot for being 4 months.On the documents the daycare provides showing feedings/diaper changes throughout the 3 days so far of being there they were feeding him at most of 7 ounces then another 4/5oz in an hour. After my letter i gave them when I dropped off my son I realized I haven't received updates as I asked them to just keep an eye out for fevers as he had his second round of shots. I went to come pick him up and that's when their true colors showed.. the way the youngest handed me my baby is when I asked to clear the air and to make sure nothing came across wrong, she then proceeded to ensure it was good but said to hold on and closed the door on me. The mother then came with the meanest look on her face and snapped at me "come" I followed even though I knew it was going to be a hostile environment , "sit" I sat down confused . That's when the fire works began. As she's yelling at me over me requesting that my child is be fed a certain amount of formula per his doctor I tell her I don't appreciate her tone because she was also upsetting my son making him cry, she said sorry but proceeded to raise her voice and speak to me extremely rude. She then snapped at her daughter to "handle it" meaning my son as he was crying from all the yelling she was doing She was upset that I requested her to feed him less and I gave tips on what works for me to help sooth my baby. I did nothing to them besides ask for my son to be fed less and ask what the protocols were were on how much clothes and wipes they use . It gets expensive and I honestly don't know.. Mind you I have never attended a daycare but as a single mom which I explained I was going through his whole closet of clothes in 2/3 days , I work 40+ hour weeks and forgot to pack multiple outfits as I put 1 extra what I had available. After the meltdown I encountered from them I proceeded to ask should I find another daycare and she said you have two weeks you are being terminated for him spitting up, it's makes our house smell bad and it's hazard.. I said okay and left . After processing what had happened I didn't want my child to go back in an environment like that where they can yell and be so harsh towards me for not doing anything to them, I wonder what they do to the kids while upset so I said hey can I swing back for his things he will not be returning Monday . She gives me a bag with not all my belongings and slams the door in mine, my baby and my mothers face. I do not recommend using them.

From the very beginning, we trusted her completely and felt totally at ease knowing that he was in her care. She was attentive and incredibly dependable. Melanie was extremely punctual and reliable, and we always knew we could count on her. She quickly learned Sebastian's routine and needs and took such thoughtful care of him throughout the night. Having someone we trusted so completely during those early months gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to get the rest we desperately needed. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Melanie caring for their baby!

She feeds him healthy, organic meals and is great at communicating with me throughout the day. She also has followed my request to make sure he gets in a solid nap (or two) and follows my routine.
